Observation is a Skill in The Outer Worlds 2. Observation makes it easier to reveal hidden objects and exploit a target's weak spot. Skills in The Outer Worlds 2 help determine your character's core abilities, which will also dictate the player character's gameplay and interactions throughout the game. Specializing in a Skill will unlock related Perks that are unique to it.
The Observation skill reveals hidden objects in the world and subtle behaviors in conversations. Investing in the Observation skill allows you to select perks that lets you find more loot, track enemies, and more effectively use enemy weakspots.

Keep an eye out while exploring to spot them or invest in the Observation skill to detect them automatically (various traps are harder to detect and require a higher skill).
