Switch 2

Aeruta release date

We have an update on Aeruta, as the game’s release date is now set on Nintendo Switch. It’ll be out on December 10, 2026.

Aeruta, a dungeon exploration and bakery management RPG, was just announced for Nintendo Switch last month. However, we did not have any sort of launch timing until now.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 3.0.1 update

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has just gone live with a new version 3.0.1 update. This is intended for those playing on Nintendo Switch 2.

A number of different bugs have now been fixed. One of these is something many players noticed, which was background music and sound effects not being properly balanced.

The full rundown is as follows:

August 19: Nintendo typically puts out icons for its newer releases on Switch Online, but right now the company is revisiting an older title. As of today, members can get their hands on Fire Emblem: Three Houses designs.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses came out before the Nintendo Switch Online icons feature was introduced. And with Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave coming up, Nintendo likely thought that now’s a good time to revisit the older title.

Big news has come to light about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of NBA 2K27, as we now have confirmation that it will support 60 frames per second.

2K and Visual Concepts just shared new information about the sports game on Nintendo’s console. It turns out that there’ll be a Performance Mode. That’s where the 60 FPS support comes in.

Key members of the Kingdom Hearts 4 development team have provided new comments about the game, including what to expect from the game’s worlds and more. All of this comes from a new Famitsu interview.

First up, series director Tetsuya Nomura proclaimed that Kingdom Hearts 4 “features the most detailed worlds we’ve ever created.” That said, because of this, “the total number of worlds isn’t very large.”

Nomura said in the interview:

Elden Ring is launching imminently on Nintendo Switch 2, and we’re now able to get a better look at how it compares to the PS5 release with a graphics comparison video.

Much has been made of the Nintendo Switch 2 version going back to last year. Out of the gate, the title seemed to struggle with performance. FromSoftware definitely made improvements, but things aren’t perfect.

Hoarder

As shared by Awaken Realms and Byzel today, Hoarder will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2. For now, they’re saying the game will be out in 2027.

Hoarder initially starts as a mundane cleaning simulator, but it “spirals into a distant nightmare.” You’ll “scavenge the hoarders’ house, recover what should be forgotten, and if you go far enough, you might reach the top of the pyramid or the bottom of the abyss.”
