Full Spring Meadows Walkthrough
Spring Meadows Entrance
When you first reach Spring Meadows, before moving forward, turn around and head into the waterfall. At the base of the waterfall, you can pick up some Chroma. Now you can go ahead through the Meadow. Head down the path, and an Expedition Status tutorial will pop up. Follow what it says, display the Expedition's Status, and use a Chroma Elixir to recover the health of your Expedition members.
Continue down the path to watch a cutscene of Gustave inspecting an enemy. The enemy will stand up, and Gustave prepares for battle. The enemy is a Lancelier, this combat sequence will serve as your tutorial and introduction to the combat of the game. The cutscene continues where the enemy turns into Chroma dust and disappears.
After the fight, head down the path to the cliffs, and use your grappling hook to reach the other side. Walk through the rocky cliffs and into the narrow field. At the end of this path, you will find a stone wall with cracks and steps indicating that you can climb this wall.
Once you reach the top, walk through the spears and flags and head into the cave where you find the bodies of the fallen members of Expedition 33. Gustave sees this and is visibly distraught, and his feelings of hopelessness are shown when he points his pistol to his head. Before pulling the trigger, Lune speaks to him and encourages him to continue. As Lune tries to get Gustave to escape, a Portier emerges and attacks the two. Take out the enemy to obtain the Dodger Pictos. The cutscene continues where Gustave absorbs the Chroma dust from the enemy.
Read through the tutorial for Pictos to get a basic idea of how Pictos works. Continue through the cave to the other exit back into the green fields. Continue down the path, ahead there is a path where you will need to crouch under, luckily, the game will automatically put you in crouch to get through smaller spaces. Pass this area and head to the first Expedition Flag.
Meadows Corridor
Interact with the flag to replenish your Expedition members' health and consumables. Once you are ready, continue down the path to encounter two Lanceliers. Defeat this group of enemies to obtain the Lanceram Weapon. This weapon is for Gustave, change it if you wish to. Otherwise, go up the flower path immediately to the right of where the Lanceliers were to get 180 chroma. Drop down and continue ahead and go into the path on the right just where you see the large stone slab with grey detailing. Go to the end of this path to pick up the Pictos Critical Burn.
Exit the path and continue on the main road towards the large area where a Lancelier will approach you. Before entering the house, turn left and head up the path to pick up another 180 Chroma at the ledge. Return to the main area and head into the house. Just as you enter, turn right to pick up a Chroma Catalyst. Go up to the second floor with the make-shift slope and interact with the rope to go up to the third floor.
There are two paths here, for now turn to the right and down the slope. Once you reach the other side of the second floor, turn right and pick up an Energy Tint Shard under the slope. Turn around and go through the hole, turn right and pick up 360 Chroma. Head back up and go down the slope to the field and to find the next Expedition Flag.
Grand Meadow
Rest at the Expedition Flag if needed, as well as upgrading your characters' attributes and learning new skills. Before approaching the enemy ahead, turn around and go to the edge of the cliff by the broken barrels and boxes to pick up 180 Chroma. Head to the path to the left to fight a Lancelier, head to the end of the path and pick up 180 Chroma at the base of the tree.
Use your grappling hook to get across to the higher cliff continue making your way across and follow the path to reach an arena against a Mime. Defeat the mime to obtain the Baguette Outfit (Gustave), Baguette Haircut (Gustave), and 2 Chroma Catalyst.
While returning to the Expedition Flag, stop off on your right at the slope that led you down to pick up 180 Chroma next to more broken barrels and boxes. Continue forward to the Portier past the flag. Keep going forward to the tree on the right and pick up a Colour of Lumina, head to the other side of the cliff where the broken barrels are, and pick up the Chroma Catalyst. Cross the narrow stone bridge and get up to the other side. Continue up the hill to reach a cutscene where a group of Volesters approach. Go towards the right of the path, past the large metal panel lodged onto the small hill, to fight the field boss, Chromatic Lancelier.
Defeat the Chromatic Lancelier to obtain a weapon upgrade for the Lanceram, the Pictos Augmented Attack, 2 Chroma Catalysts, and 5 Colours of Lumina. Behind the boss, you can pick up 180 Chroma. Return to the main path and take the rope up to find blue trees. First go to the left towards the Monolith in the distance; fall down the ledge to get 720 Chroma at the base of a tree. Climb back up and go to the right of the tree and use your grappling hook to get across.

Return to the main path and up to the left, and climb up the built-in structure. Go through the narrow tunnel to reach a cutscene where you find a large jar figure.
A cutscene will begin where both Gustave and Lune examine the Jar as well as the Journal - Expedition 81. The Jar begins to speak to you, saying it needs light. Next to the Jar is the next Expedition Flag.
Abandoned Expedition Camp

Return to the main path and head down first, then turn left to pick up the Pictos Burning Shots by some broken boxes at the base of a tree. Turn around and go down the path to find an enemy. Right before that, there is a path to the left that is blocked. Fight the group of Abbests. Defeat them to obtain the Lighterim, a weapon for Lune.
Switch to it if you choose to, otherwise, go to the far right of the alcove where you fought the group of Abbests to pick up a Colour of Lumina. Ahead, there are two paths. Both paths have enemies and loot so you can choose to go either side. For now, go to the path on the right that leads down to a group of enemies (two Volesters and one Abbest), defeat them and head under the bridge, you can pick up a Colour of Lumina.
Go back up and on the path on the left to fight another group of enemies ( a Lancelier, an Abbest, and a Volester) defeat them and pick up a Chroma Catalyst behind them. Cross the bridge to the other side and head down the slope. to find another group of enemies (two Volesters and an Abbest) to the right are a bunch of wooden boxes and barrels, break through them and pick up the Resin for the Jar.
Before you head back, head to the path on the left ahead and pick up the Revive Tint Shard. Return to the Jar and present the Resin to him, proceed to shoot into his lantern to give it light, only for it to die out a few moments later. After the conversation, the Jar will reward you with a Healing Tint Shard. At this point, you can choose to attack Jar. If you defeat him, you can obtain 3 Colour of Lumina, and a Chroma Catalyst. Continue ahead past the bridge and go up the path on the right leading up to the next Expedition Flag.
The Indigo Tree
Rest, level up your Attributes, and learn some skills as you will face a Boss and two Abbests. Approach the open field to find a cutscene of the boss Eveque. Defeat it to obtain the Pictos Cleansing Tint, 3 Chroma Catalysts and 1 Recoat.
A cutscene will play where they continue ahead where they find a message that Maelle has been taken somewhere, Gustave wishes to find her while Lune feels like its a trap. Once the cutscene is over, before continuing the path, turn around to the cliffs and pick up the Pictos Empowering Attack at the tip of the cliff, at the base of the tree. Go back and take the rope down on the left, go all the way to the end to pick up a Colour of Lumina. The rope that goes through the hole in the ground leads back to the Expedition Flag.
