Players acquire this weapon at Level 1.
Defeating the Chromatic Lancelier in Spring Meadows yields a level upgrade for this weapon.
Players can encounter a group of enemies [[[Luster]], Abbest, Lancelier] in The Continent's overworld map, just north of The Small Bourgeon. By defeating the group for the first time, players are rewarded with a weapon upgrade for the Lanceram weapon. See Expedition 33 Map

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Lanceram Notes & Tips

Additional basic attacks caused by Combo Attack I, Combo Attack II and Combo Attack III will grant the additional perfection.
This weapon allows Verso to start at Rank C instead of D, so he can get higher Rank more quickly and improve his damage. Additionally, it rewards Base Attacks with more Perfection, which is great combined with Combo Attack I, II or III, which allow for more Base Attacks. Parrying also increases Perfection as well.
The general downside of this weapon is that reaching Rank S usually only takes 2 turns even without this weapon, so if you cannot reach it on the first turn when using this, then it's not worth it.
