Full Forgotten Battlefield Walkthrough

Arrival in the Forgotten Battlefield

After the initial cutscene, you will be attacked by a Chalier — defeat this enemy to gain XP and Expedition 33 Wiki. Follow the path ahead and go through the open gate. Go to the wooden structure on the right to find a Polished Chroma Catalyst.

Then, follow the path to find enemies scattered across the area. Defeat the Chalier found as the path begins to fork to receive the Ramasson weapon for Sciel and the Longer Shell Pictos.

Explore the path on the right to fight a Chalier near a loot beam — defeat it to obtain the Troubadim weapon (or as an upgrade if you have the weapon already). Then, pick up the x988 Expedition 33 Wiki nearby.

Drop down to the trenches to find a Troubadour positioned near a door which you can defeat for XP and Expedition 33 Wiki. On the right, you can pick up x3,950 Expedition 33 Wiki. Head back down to the left side of the slope to obtain the Energising Start IV Pictos at a trench, Then head up the path behind you to progress through the area.

Follow the path filled with Troubadours and Chaliers on the left side to find another structure in the trench. You will find a Chalier near a platform containing a loot beam.

Once you defeat the enemy, pick up the Colour of Lumina on the wooden platform, then proceed through the stairs by arch to encounter a Troubadour at the top. Just before you cross the bridge, turn left to get a Health Tint Shard. Now cross to fight another Troubadour. On the right is the Sweet Kill Pictos. Turn back and continue through the small arch where you can drop down to the trench. Before you do, turn left and get the Recoat from the wooden crate. Drop down and follow the path on the left to find a Colour of Lumina, then head up the path to return to the area near the open gate.

You can go down a slope on the left side to find a Revive Tint Shard, then return to the main path. Move forward, fighting the Chalier and Ramasseur, to cross the wooden bridge on the left reaching the Vanguard Point Expedition Flag.

Fort Ruins

Turn back and climb the ledge to your left reaching the Fort Ruins Expedition Flag at the entrance. Proceed to the ruins, then cross the climbing holds and follow the path going down the stairs. Defeat the Troubadour at the bottom of the stairs, and you will find an open area filled with enemies.

Defeat the Chalier on the right, roaming around the structure. Turn right to find a Colour of Lumina. Then, head to the section outside and proceed to the ledge to find the Energising Death Pictos.

Then, return to the open area and follow the other path, wherein you will encounter three Chaliers surrounding a purple loot beam. Defeat them, then pick up the Colour of Lumina on the ground. Nearby, you will find the door that leads to the Vanguard Point section. Return to the Vanguard Point Expedition Flag to resume your exploration of the battlefield.

Vanguard Point

Once you are at the Vanguard Point Expedition Flag, cross the tube nearby and follow the path. To the right is a fire pit of sorts, and behind it are some boxes. Shooting them will yield an Energy Tint Shard. Defeat the Ramasseur along the way, then keep following the path until it forks. You can find the Fading Woman on the path at the right, who will only be interested in speaking with Maelle. Then, on the left path, which is just an alternate path from where you came from, you can find the Battlefield Expedition Flag.

Battlefield

Behind the rock where the Expedition Flag is, you can find a Colour of Lumina. Nearby, you will be able to find Petank, who you can chase to a purple glyph. Defeat Petank, and you can receive items such as x5 Polished Chroma Catalyst, a Recoat, and x5 Colour of Lumina. Then, you may explore the alternate path to find x3950 Expedition 33 Wiki.

Once you are done exploring, head through the path on the right side of the Fading Woman to get to trenches with loot and enemies. On the left path, you can find the Journal - Expedition 41. Return to the path, then pick up the Colour of Lumina in the middle. Defeat the Chalier accompanied by a Troubadour and a Ramasseur, then follow the path ahead. Pick up the x1975 Expedition 33 Wiki, and a Chromatic Luster will charge towards you.

Defeat the Chromatic Luster, and you will receive the Lusteson weapon for Sciel and the Energising Parry Pictos. Head back to the intersection where you picked up the Colour of Lumina, then follow the other path. Climb up the rope on the left side of the area, then walk through the wooden path and pick up the Empowering Tint Pictos.

Head back to the Fading Woman, then follow the path behind her to progress through the Forgotten Battlefield. The path will fork into two directions — the path on the left will have stacks of boxes that you can destroy to find a lock to a Paint Cage. Destroy it, then follow the path on the right to find the Paint Cage on the left side of the path.

The second lock of the Paint Cage will be found on the wooden platform next to the Paint Cage. The last lock will be found on top of the wall of the trench just before you entered the area with the Paint Cage. Destroy all three locks to open the cage to receive a Chroma Elixir Shard.

Then, follow the main path to find the Journal - Expedition 57. Nearby, you can find a staircase that leads to a structure with a rope — climb it, and you will find Kasumi, a merchant who sells the Inverted Affinity Pictos and the Benisim weapon for Lune. You can also challenge them to a duel to be able to purchase the Obscur Outfit for Maelle.

Ancient Bridge

Return to the entrance and to the main path, and you will find the Ancient Bridge Expedition Flag after going through the arch. Once you have saved your progress, cross the bridge for a cutscene.

During the cutscene, a Boss will be shown to pounce towards the Expedition party — the cutscene will end, and you will have to defeat Dualliste, a boss vulnerable to light. For more information about Dualliste, you may visit this page.

After defeating Dualliste, you will obtain the Dualiso weapon for Verso and the Combo Attack I Pictos. Follow the path ahead to find ropes, After climbing your first rope, the wall next to the second rope has a hole that leads to a Colour of Lumina — climb to the top and follow the path. When you see the broken bridge on the right, on the left, there's a ledge you can climb up, explore that area to find a Colour of Lumina behind a rock formation on the left side. You can find a narrow path between rocks which leads to the Revive Tint Energy Pictos hidden behind trees.

Follow the path on the right side to find a place where you can bury Gustave. Head to the tree with red leaves, and a cutscene will show the members of the expedition burying Gustave's hand. Once the cutscene is done, you can walk forward to exit the Forgotten Battlefield and be back at Camp.

Exiting the Forgotten Battlefield

When you exit the Forgotten Battlefield, the next location will be Monoco's Station northeast of your current location. On the northern side, near the structure, you can fight a Cruler to obtain the Cruleram (or the weapon upgrade if you have it already).

Then, head northwest to a snowy area to find Strabami east of Monoco's Station, a merchant selling the French Bob Haircut (Lune) for 3,000 Expedition 33 Wiki and the Lost Voice Music Record for 1,000 Expedition 33 Wiki. Once you are ready to progress, head inside Monoco's Station.

All Paint Spike Locations in Forgotten Battlefield

Paint Spike 1

Head to the Fort Ruins Expedition Flag, then go inside and utilize the climbing holds to get to an area with a Troubadour beside a Paint Spike. Defeat the Troubadour, then destroy the Paint Spike to reveal an area containing a Polished Chroma Catalyst and a rope on the right side, which you can climb up to get to the balcony.
