Oath of the Crown is a Subclass of Paladin in Baldur's Gate 3. Oath of the Crown is a new subclass that specializes in aiding your allies and disrupting enemies. The Paladin's primary Ability is Strength, their Saving Throw proficiencies are Wisdom & Charisma and they have a Hit Dice of 1d10 per paladin level. They have proficiency with Simple Weapons, Martial Weapons, and all Armor and Shields.
You have sworn yourself to the ideals of civilisation, serving the laws that hold society together and preserving the order they command.

BG3 Oath of the Crown Features
Level 1
- Oath of the Crown Tenets
- Righteous Clarity: Target yourself or an ally to additionally grant the target's proficiency bonus to their Attack rolls.
Level 3
- Champion Challenge: Challenge the enemies around you, compelling them to attack only you. Any attacks they might make against other targets have Disadvantage.
- Turn the Tide: Shout out and heal all nearby non-enemy creatures.
- Oath spells: Command, Compelled Duel.
Level 5
- Oath spells: Warding Bond, Spiritual Weapon.
Level 7
- Divine Allegiance: When an ally within 1.5m of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to magically substitute your own health for your ally's, taking the damage instead of them.
Level 9
- Oath spells: Spirit Guardians, Crusader's Mantle.
Behaviors that break the Oath of the Crown
- Caught for crime activities. (Stealing or Killing NPCs, etc.)
- Break your promises to others.
- Act 1
- Help Sazza escape or kill her in dialogue.
- Promise to help tieflings and betray them.
- Betraying Minthara after you agreed to help her.
- Let Auntie Ethel escape for her boon.
- Refuse to save Duke Ravengard.
- Betraying Sovereign Spaw.
- Steal the githyanki egg.
- Act 2
- Agree to kidnap Isobel.
- Assisting Marcus during the assault on Last Light Inn.
- Hurt Dolly Dolly Dolly.
- Promised to bring Nightsong to Ketheric but failed.
- Betraying Balthazar.
- Convincing Madeline to stab herself.
- Force goblins in the moonrise tower to commit suicide.
- Act 3
- Agree to help Devilish Ox but failed to do so.
- Side with Gortash, and betray him.
- Side with Orin, and betray her.
- Promise to Jaheira to save Minsc, but failed.
- Betray Mayrina.
- Choose to become the Unholy Assassin in the Murder Tribunal.
- Activating the collared workers' kill switch in the Foundry

BG3 Paladin Oath and Oathbreaking
You can pick a paladin oath during Character Creation, you must constantly adhere to the tenets of your Oath or you will lose the power it grants you. Take any actions that breaks your Oath will summon the Oathbreaker Knight and later waiting you at your camp, talk to him to learn about Oathbreaking and, if you so desire, unlock the Oathbreaker subclass. Become an Oathbreaker replaces the Channel Oath abilities and Spells from your previous Oath with new abilities and Spells available only to Oathbreaker.
If you want to restore your old Oath, speak to the Oathbreaker Knight in your Camp. He will offer to restore your Oath for a fee of 1000gp. (This price will increase if you break your Oath again. )

Anonymousif you attack neutral npc with non-lethal, does it break you oath? if you use persuasion with guards?

Participating in the prison break in Act 2 breaks your oath too.
