Thats really good for multiclass, extra attack and a effect that incress const saving, all that on a full caster that learn spells with scroll? You can even dump your int and use the int circlet then focus on other magic stats and you are ready to go, maybe 5 sorc and 1 hexblade for extra dmg

Interesting change to the AC bonus

Now bladesinger is a wizard who can dump Intelligence lol

As long as you're using your concentration for smth like haste or great invisibility and the rest of your slots for reducing damage or smiting (given couple levels of paladin), why do you even need Int

          aigh, hear me out
          healing word = bonus action
healing word = bless (The Whispering Promise ring) + blade ward (Hellrider's Pride gloves) + 3 temporary hp (Boots of Aid and Comfort)

optionally thief to get 2x bonus action
I know, very expensive very greedy build (bladesing wizard lv2, thief rogue lv3, cleric lv X)

But you're not here to do damage, you're here to SPAM HEAL REALLY HARD and build an atomic bomb (that might or might not miss lol)

for anyone who think this class is mid, consider giving it to a heal bot or debuff bot
every turn you would attempt CC (eg. command, hold person) and healing word bonus action w/ Whispering Promise ring (free bless on heal)

before you know it your feeble heal cuck bot suddenly became the giga mega omega nuke of hell

Absolute unit subclass. Dodge god. Combine shadow blade and booming blade for sick damage.

Just kinda sad that i can't benefit from bladesong while wielding a spear (king of melee weapons).

PS: Tested on a solo playthrough.

RIP to all my fellow bladesingers who just had their favorite subclass mercilessly slaughtered in cold blood. I am personally going to try and make a mod to fix this MASSIVE blow to my precious BS...

Bladesinger stands on three pillars that makes it good int to AC, int to concentration and cantrip extra attack.
There is no in to AC and PB is way lower, no int to concentration (and maybe don't stack with res con, but I'm not sure).
And the most important one - no cantrip multi attack. That was your definetive thing.

There is nothing that made bladesinger bladesinger, now it's even more "wizard with ac and res con" insteat of gish wizard.

I had such great plans ready for this class only to realise that AC doesnt scale based off intelligence. All those plans have now been thrown out the window.

Not sure why anyone would play Bladesinger, it seems to nearly completely lack any identity or power beyond the basic wizard kit.

It's a shame Larian removed the most pivotal part of this subclass that made it fun. Instead of extra attack you can in normal 5e DnD use a normal attack and follow it up with a cantrip instead of Extra attack. That's what made the class so fun versatility and using cantrips like Booming Blade and Green flame blade. They didn't even add in Green flame blade in the new stress test which removes a huge part of you are supposed to play this class. Just a missed opportunity. Yes you can make a argument about balance, but let's be honest none cares for that when you can make insanely strong builds anyway.
