The tooltip implies that the shield spell is active until long rest. This is not the case and is fist a single daily casting of the spell. Still worth the cost but not the super op item the tooltip implies.

the tooltip has a type "advantage on wisdom saving throws checks", it actually just gives advantage on saves.
This article is wrong, the amulet recharges every long rest not short rest.
