I finally landed an offer😊 I owe it to 3 questions that helped me stand out from the 50+ other candidates... 1️⃣ PROBLEM DISCOVERY "What’s the biggest problem you’re facing that you’re hoping the person taking on this role to solve?" ☝ This question will reveal more in 3 minutes than doing 3 hours of "research" on the company. 2️⃣ PRIORITIES "This role seems to include both (Skill #1) and (Skill #2). How would you say those two responsibilities are split up for this role? 50/50? 70/30? ☝Every role can be done 100 different ways. Asking this helped me figure out which parts of my skillset to focus on. 3️⃣ POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY "What’s your favorite thing about the team you work on?" ☝ This one seems simple, but it taps into deep human psychology. When someone has a positive conversation, they associate that positive feeling with you. I failed my first 17 interviews partly because I was so focused on answering every question "correctly." I didn't realize that the questions I asked were MORE important than the answers I was giving. Once I added these to my arsenal, everything changed. My method became: ↳ Find the problem ↳ Focus on one skillset ↳ Leave on a positive note Rinse, repeat, and rock that interview 😉 _______ P.S. Michelle Safi liked thisMichelle Safi liked thisToday is my last day at PUBG Studios Madison After almost two years, it’s hard to say goodbye to a team that made this experience so memorable. I’ve had the chance to work alongside some incredibly talented people, learn a lot, take on great challenges, and share plenty of good moments along the way. I’m grateful for everything we built together and, more than anything, for the people behind it. This team will definitely be missed. Thank you to everyone at Madison who was part of these past two years. It’s been a great chapter. ❤️ On to the next one soon!
