How this ranking works

Every Pal is scored on three figures from the Palworld 1.0 data, each turned into a 0 to 100 rank across the whole roster:

• Combat (50%): the Pal's in-game ranking, which orders Pals by battle strength. The legendary tower bosses sit at the top and the starter Pals at the bottom.
• Work (30%): the total of its Work Suitability levels, so a Pal that helps at more base jobs, or at higher levels, ranks higher.
• Mobility (20%): whether the Pal is a mount, raised further by ride and swim speed so fast fliers and strong swimmers rank higher.

The three scores are blended, then split into tiers: S is the top 5%, A the next 10%, B the next 20%, C the next 30% and D the rest. Work levels can be pushed higher in-game with passives and condensing, covered on Passive Skills and Upgrades.
