Palworld Interactive World Map

Plot any Pal's wild spawn points on the Palpagos Islands, or flip on every field boss and Alpha Pal at once. Compare up to six Pals, toggle day and night spawns, and jump to any Pal's page for levels, drops and breeding.

How to Use the Map

The map shows the whole Palpagos archipelago — the grasslands you start in, the desert and volcano to the west, the frozen mountains in the north, and the later islands of Sakurajima and Feybreak. Two layers sit on top of it, and you can turn each one on or off independently with the toggles directly above the map, so you only ever see what you came looking for.

Pal spawns. Type a Pal into the search box to plot every overworld spot it appears, drawn straight from the game's own spawn tables rather than guessed at. Add up to six Pals at once and each is given its own colour, so you can see at a glance where two species' ranges overlap before you set out to catch or farm them. A lot of Pals only surface at a certain time of day, so use the Day and Night checkboxes to match what you'll actually run into on the ground — turning one off hides the spawns that only happen then and keeps the map readable. Every Pal you add also shows its wild level range on its chip, with a link through to its full page for drops, base stats, work suitability and breeding combinations.

Bosses & Alphas. Switch on this layer to pin all 83 field bosses and Alpha Pals at their exact locations in one go. These are the oversized, named Pals that guard set spots across the islands; each pin shows which Pal it is and the level you'll fight it at, and clicking a pin opens that Pal's page. Alphas hit hard for the area they're in, but beating — or better, catching — one is often the quickest way to pick up a strong Pal early, so they're well worth planning a route around as you explore.

267 Pals have mapped wild spawns and 83 field bosses / Alphas are pinned at their exact spots. Pals without wild spawns (egg-only or dungeon Pals) are on their own Paldeck pages.

Field Bosses & Alphas

Palworld has 83 field bosses and Alpha Pals standing at fixed points in the overworld — the big, glowing, named versions of ordinary Pals that don't wander like a normal spawn but hold a single spot until you take them on. They come in at a noticeably higher level than the wild Pals around them, hit harder, and usually roll better passive skills, which is exactly what makes them worth the detour.

The important thing is that every one of these can be caught, not just defeated. Landing the throw on an Alpha is often the single fastest way to add that species to your team, and a much stronger starting point than the same Pal pulled from a low-level wild spawn — you skip straight to a high-level base with good passives to build on. They're a reliable early source of the rarer Pals, too, since a fixed Alpha is far easier to find again than a rare wild roll. Bring plenty of higher-tier spheres, soften it up before you throw, and mind its element going in. The table below lists them by the level you meet them at, so you can work down it as your own team gets stronger; flip on the Bosses & Alphas layer above to see exactly where each one waits, and follow any name for its stats, drops and breeding routes.
