Nintendo Music 1.6.0 update out now, patch notes – plus browser version live

Nintendo Music has just received a new update with version 1.6.0. The patch is starting distribution on various platforms now.
The update is notable for its support of new platforms. You can now properly use the app with the likes of iPad, CarPlay, and Android Auto. Functionality is also included so that you search for tracks with Siri.

Pokemon Champions producer Masaaki Hoshino has spoken about what players can expect in terms of Pokemon additions for the game.
Since launch, the roster has stayed the same. There’s somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 creatures to use, but obviously many other Pokemon exist.

Nintendo reveals new mobile game Pictonico

Nintendo is releasing a brand new mobile game titled Pictonico, the company just revealed. It will be available on May 28, 2026.
Pictonico is a mini-game experience centered around using photos. You can use your own face (or friends as well) across 80 different challenges. It’s already drawing comparisons to Face Raiders on Nintendo 3DS.

A brand new distribution has just arrived in Pokemon Home, allowing users to get their hands on Shiny Volcanion.
This is the latest Pokedex completion reward. Those who finish the Lumiose Pokedex, Hyperspace Pokedex, and Mega Evolution Pokedex with Pokemon deposited from Pokemon Legends: Z-A will be able to earn Shiny Volcanion in Pokemon Home.

Pokemon Champions Pokemon list, everyone that’s confirmed

A list is now available covering all of the confirmed Pokemon in Pokemon Champions. This is based on various previews, footage, and now that the game is out, the final release.
Pokemon Champions will initially feature a selection of creatures to battle with. While there are over 1,000 Pokemon, it’ll be a long time until Champions hits that number. Currently the roster stands at about 200 (depending on how you count Mega Evolutions) – at least for now. The good news is that we’ve already heard the team will be updating the game, and could even see it being around “forever”.

Super Mario Run now hosting The Super Mario Galaxy Movie event, special statues up for grabs

Super Mario Run has now kicked off its latest event, which ties in with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Make sure you’ve updated to version 3.4.0.
During the event period, players will be able to earn statues and more. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are in the first set. Captain Toad and Princess Peach are in the second. Finally, Bowser Jr. and Bowser are in the third.
Pokemon Home 4.0.0 update released, support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Pokemon Champions added – patch notes

As previously announced, Pokemon Home has received a version 4.0.0 update. Users should be seeing the update roll out now on mobile and Nintendo Switch devices. Keep in mind that the app’s servers are currently undergoing maintenance, making the software unusable until 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM in the UK / 2 PM in Europe.
The new update brings with it support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the upcoming Pokemon Champions game. Latin American Spanish has also been added as a language option, and that is pretty much it.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A geting Pokemon Home connectivity this week

Pokemon Home connectivity is coming to Pokemon Legends: Z-A imminently, it’s been announced. The functionality is going live on April 2 in Japan, which means we’ll likely be seeing this tomorrow night in North America.
To prepare for the connectivity, Pokemon Home will be undergoing maintenance. This will be happening tomorrow starting at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM in the UK / 2 AM in Europe.
