Sacred Oath is a Miracle in Dark Souls 3. To cast a miracle, you must use a Chime, Talisman, or Special Weapons that can cast Miracles.

Miracle of those chosen by the Sunlight covenant.

Temporarily boosts attack and damage absorption for self and those in vicinity.

This is the tale of the Sun's firstborn, his faithful first knight, and the brave dragonslayer who served them both.

How to Get Sacred Oath in Dark Souls 3

• Reward for reaching rank 1 in the covenant Warrior of Sunlight (you must offer 10 Sunlight Medals to reach rank 1).

Dark Souls 3 Sacred Oath Notes, Tips & Trivia

• Increases all damage by 10% multiplicatively (Damage * 1.1) and grants 10.0 absorption to all categories (affected by diminishing returns like all armor), these effects are cut in half for PvP.
• Can be delayed by holding down the button. Good for co-op partners to have time to get in range to get buffed.
• Unaffected by Spell Buff and Miracle power rings.
• Duration can be increased with Lingering Dragoncrest Ring (60 sec. * 1.3 = 78 sec.)
• Stacks with most buffs, including Deep Protection.
• Does not stack with Oath of Sunlight.
• Buff range is increased by the Sacred Chime of Fillianore.
• This spell first appeared in Dark Souls 2.
• The first two in its description refer to Gwyn's firstborn son (see Ring of the Sun's First Born) and Dragonslayer Ornstein (see Leo Ring). The brave dragonslayer who served them both has been subject to much speculation.
• Given that the "who served them both" part is entirely absent from the original JP text, it is possible that the dragonslayer, 竜狩りの剣士 (dragonslaying swordsman) is Gwyn, the First Lord.
