- Bought from: Cornyx of the Great Swamp for 2,000 souls after he has been given the Carthus Pyromancy Tome.

- Destroys the durability of Weapons and Armor currently worn by the enemy. The enemy has to be in the mist. Acid Surge will deal approximately 8 damage to equipment durability of the victim stays in the cloud for the whole duration. If the cloud passes through the victim instead, they'll take about 2 durability damage
- Not recommended for Arena-based PvP, but might prove useful in group fights as to scramble or worry opponents.
- Curiously, this spell will mark objects on the map with a small acid surge cloud when touching them. This may be the spell trying to break their durability, as the same cloud appears when used on players.
