It's hard to call this the 'baby' Aston Martin when the Vantage's 4.0L twin-turbo V8 derived from AMG makes a healthy 656 horsepower through just the rear wheels. Think of it as the little child of the family alongside the grown-up Vanquish and DB12. The short wheelbase makes it more playful, and it can get up to 60 miles per hour in only 3.5 seconds. Opulence oozes out of the DB12, which now uses a V8 instead of a thundering V12 engine. Still, this twin-turbo V8 only runs out of steam at 202 miles per hour thanks to 671 British horses. Aston calls this a 'super tourer,' which is meant to mix athleticism with luxury, and thanks to torque-vectoring and Bilstein adaptive dampers, it floats over bumps while offering stability in corners. The V8's torque band runs from 2,750 rpm to a mighty 6,000 rpm, meaning you're never short on power.

Ford's famous pony car has stayed true to its roots. Both the GT & Dark Horse models of the Mustang come with a V8 engine, making either 480 horsepower or a round 500.
