If you want to complete the Tower of Babble easter egg in Tranzit for Black Ops 2 Zombies, you're going to need to know the step-by-step process. Tranzit has two easter egg sides to follow, and for the Maxis side, you can find an updated list of steps below to ensure you complete this easter egg with ease and efficiency! Below, we'll walk you through the Tranzit Maxis easter egg steps from start to finish.

This easter egg can only be completed with 2+ players, but if you're playing on PC with Plutonium, you can use the BO2-Full-Solo-Mods mod to complete the EE solo, as you'll just need one Turbine instead of 4.

Tranzit Maxis Side Easter Egg Steps Overview

  1. Build the Turbine.
  2. Build the Nav Card Table.
  3. Turn on the Power.
  4. Turn off the Power.
  5. Grab EMP Grenades from the Mystery Box.
  6. Spawn the Avogadro at the Cornfield Pylon.
  7. With a Turbine active at the Nav Card Table, EMP the Avogadro.
  8. Use a Turbine on a lamp post.

Step #1: Build the Turbine

The Turbine is the portable power generator that you can build in the Bus Depot. The Turbine is essential for progressing the easter egg, and all three parts can be found inside the spawn area of the Bus Depot, so make sure you have one before proceeding with the next steps.

Step #2: Build the Nav Card Table

Step #2 Build the Nav Card Table

You're first going to need to build the Nav Card Reader. This has four parts, and you'll need to take each part to the large pylon in the cornfield, which is between the Farm and the Power Station on the left:

115 Meteor

115 Meteor
  • The Meteor can be found at the Bus Depot. You need to leave the main doors and then look into the zombie barrier just behind the Mystery Box.

Wooden Table

  • The first location for the Wooden Table can be found in the tunnel between Bus Depot and the Diner, specifically by the zombie barrier on the right in the same walkway as the M16 Wall-Buy.
  • The second location for the Wooden Table is in the Power Station, on the edge of the metal walkway below Tombstone Soda.

Electrical Box

  • The first location for the Electrical Box is in the Farm, specifically to the left of the fridge, where you can store weapons.
  • The next location is just by the dumpster in Town, where the Mystery Box spawns.

Radio

The first spawn spot for the Radio is on top of a locker in the mechanic's garage in the Diner location.

The second spawn spot is on a table in Nacht der Untoten, which can be found through the cornfields by sticking to the right path after the Farm on the way to the Power Station.

Step #3: Turn on the Power (Then Turn it Back Off)

Take the bus all the way to the Power Station, where you can open the door to the outhouse to drop down into the secret lab area. Inside, you'll find three parts to build the Power Switch, and all these parts can be found in the large white room with the Hand, Switch, and Generator.

Once the power switch is activated and the Avogadro spawns, you need to immediately turn the power back off. This is a specific step for the Maxis side of the Tranzit easter egg, so you might want to get yourself set up with Perks and Pack-a-Punch first.

Step #4: Acquire EMP Grenades

Step #4 Acquire EMP Grenades

An essential item for the easter egg is the EMP Grenades. You can only get the EMP Grenades from the Mystery Box, so try to build up some points and get to spinning the box, wherever it might be (look for the blue light in the sky). Once you have the EMP Grenades, you're ready for the next step.

Step #5: Spawn the Avogadro at the Cornfield Pylon

Head to the pylon in the Cornfield. You're going to have to be patient, as you'll need to wait for lightning in the skybox to be all around you (not just in one direction, but wherever you turn). This can take a few minutes, but when there is lightning in the sky, kill the final zombie to flip the round, and the Avogadro will spawn.

Step #6: Place Turbines on Either Side of the Nav Card and EMP the Avogadro

When the Avogadro spawns in, you need to place a Turbine on the side of the Nav Card Table by the back leg of the pylon. Throw an EMP Grenade at the Avogadro when he's opposite the Turbines (so the Turbines are not destroyed). This will instantly kill the Avogadro, and he will fly back into the sky. You'll know you've done this correctly as you'll get a quote from Maxis.

If you're playing solo, you just need one Turbine. However, if you have two or more players, you'll need 2 Turbines on either side of the Nav Card Table.

Step #7: Place Your Turbines on the Lamp Posts in the Fog

With the quote from Maxis and the Avogadro defeated, you'll need to grab your Turbine (solo) and activate it in front of a lamp post. These are the same lamp posts that can be used to fast travel with denizens, and you can find one outside the Cornfield, and at any other POI (Bus Depot, Diner, Farm, etc.)

Step #7 Place Your Turbines on the Lamp Posts in the Fog (3)

Once the Turbine is powering the lamp post, it should begin to shine with an orange orb, which then sends power towards the pylon. Once the pylon is lit with orange power, the easter egg will be completed, and you can see confirmation by heading to the lobby and seeing an orange highlight around the Tranzit symbol.

After defeating the Avogadro in a 4-player lobby, make sure the two players with their Turbines at the Nav Card Table keep their Turbines active. The two other players will need to do the lamp post step with their Turbines. However, solo and 2-player games can take their Turbines and use them elsewhere.
