There are 16 different weapons you can come across in Pragmata and then later on, print at the shelter to unlock for your runs. The weapons are split into four different categories: Primary, Attack Units, Tactical Units, and Defense Units, each offering Hugh protection from the bots in varied ways.

Most of the weapons cannot be missed, since you find them pretty easily as you progress through the Sectors. And if you do happen to miss one on your journey, you can simply revisit any of the Sectors and pick it up. You're not going to miss most of them though, as they will say 'NEW' over them and will be placed in spots where they're very visible.

If you would like to know all the weapons available in Pragmata (& how to unlock each one), you can use this handy-dandy guide.

Riot Blaster

  • Unlock Method: Found in the Shopping District in Mass Production Array Sector.

Best Weapons in Pragmata

Best Overall Weapon: Jackhammer

The best weapon in Pragmata has to be the Jackhammer. It's a heavy melee weapon that can also shoot a powerful laser beam at foes, and it still deals a ton of damage even if the enemy hasn't been hacked. The only issue is that you won't have it in your arsenal until you roll credits and start the post-game.

Best Early-Game Weapon: Shockwave Gun

If you're trying to figure out the best gun for the early sectors of Pragmata, I think the Shockwave Gun is ideal. It's basically an overpowered shotgun that works best when you're up close and personal to the bots, which happens very often. It's not great for flying drones, but if you need to take care of a common bot with one shot, it'll get the job done.

Best for Crowd Control: Stasis Net / Riot Blaster

When you're surrounded by enemies and need a weapon to give you some space and a moment to breathe (or hack), using the Stasis Net in combination with the Riot Blaster can prove useful. The Stasis Net can hold enemies in place for a couple of seconds and stops them from attacking, while the Riot Blaster is basically a grenade launcher that can knock enemies back on their backs, giving you some extra time to gather yourself and clear the room.
