Avatar Legends The Fighting Game physical

PM Studios intends to ship physical versions of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, it’s been revealed.

A standard version and Deluxe Edition will be sold. You’ll get the Year 1 Pass DLC, digital soundtrack, and digital art book with the latter. Note that on Nintendo Switch 2, you don’t have to be concerned about it being a game-key card – this is the full thing on the cartridge.

Here’s some extra information about the bonuses:

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has been delayed, though thankfully it’ll only be a few extra weeks.

Last we heard, the title was planned for July 2, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Now, however, the release date has moved to July 23, 2026.

In a statement, the team said the delay is happening to ensure “the best possible experience at launch”. This includes “brand new content previously unplanned”.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has released a new trailer specifically focusing on Sokka.

Sokka doesn’t have any special bending abilities like many characters in the universe do. However, he’s capable of using different weapons and tools, including boomerangs and swords.
