Metric Filter
Metric Filter allows filtering the reports based on specific numerical metrics and their conditions:

You can narrow down the data in your report to focus on specific performance metrics that meet your criteria
Don't forget about groupingsIn order to use Metric Filter feature at least 1 Group By except Date is required.
Type – choose one of the available logical operators to create a filter:
- And – all listed conditions must be true for the generated report;
- Or – at least one listed condition must be true for the generated report;
- Not – the data matching the listed conditions must be excluded from the generated report.
Metric – select the performance metric you wish to filter for your report:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Clicks | The number of times users clicked on your ad |
| Bid Responses | The number of bid responses received during an auction |
| First Quartile | The percentage of video ads that were watched up to 25% |
| Video 100% | The percentage of video ads fully watched (completed) |
| Mid point | The percentage of video ads watched up to 50% |
| Skip | The number of times users skipped the video ad. |
| Third Quartile | The percentage of video ads watched up to 75% |
| Action 1 | The count of a custom action tracked as Action 1 |
| Revenue Action 1 | Revenue generated from Action 1 |
| Action 2 | The count of a custom action tracked as Action 2 |
| VPC Action 2 | Value-per-conversion count for Action 2 |
| Action 3 | The count of a custom action tracked as Action 3 |
| VPC Action 3 | Value-per-conversion count for Action 3 |
| Unique Users | The total number of unique users who interacted with the ad |
| Wins | The number of auctions won by your bid |
You can also add multiple metrics using the +Add Metric option to create combined filters with And or Or logic for more precise filtering.
Condition – define the comparison logic for the selected metric:
- Equals (=) – the chosen metric matches the exact value in the Value field;
- Greater Than (>) – the chosen metric includes results higher than the specified value in the Value field;
- Less Than (<) – the chosen metric includes results lower than the specified value in the Value field.
Value – specify the target number for the filter. For instance, set "Clicks = 100" to filter results where the number of clicks is exactly 100.
The Metric Filter feature is vital for users seeking data-driven decisions and improved advertising efficiency. It enables the monitoring of KPIs and helps identify top and underperforming campaigns for better optimization.
Metric Filter Use Case "And"
Let's assume that you want to identify your high-engagement video ads.
To identify video creative ads that were watched for at least 75%, you need to set up the following settings:
- Set the Metric to the Third Quartile;
- Choose Condition as > Greater Than;
- Input the 0 value to the Value field;
You can also add the condition where videos received more than 100 clicks to highlight the most successful ads:
- Click the +Add Metric button;
- Set the second Metric to Clicks, Condition to > Greater Than, and Value to 100;
- Choose the Select Type as And to combine the two metrics;
- Click the OK button to apply the filter.

You can identify your high-engagement video ads by filtering for ads watched for at least 75% of their duration
Metric Filter Use Case "Or"
Let's assume you want to find campaigns that either won over 500 auctions or reached over 1000 unique users.
To identify such campaigns, you need to set up the following settings:
- Set the first condition:
- Set the Metric to the Wins;
- Choose Condition as > Greater Than;
- Input the 500 value to the Value field;
- Click the +Add Metric button to set the second condition:
- Set the Metric to the Unique Users;
- Choose Condition as > Greater Than;
- Input the 1000 value to the Value field;
- Set the Select Type to Or to ensure that at least one condition is met in the report;
- Click the OK button to apply the filter.

The report with such a filter will include campaigns that meet either one or both conditions (over 500 auction wins or 1,000 unique users)
Metric Filter Use Case "Not"
Let's assume that you want to highlight campaigns with the lowest video ad views while excluding those that perform well from the report.
To exclude campaigns with fewer than 10 ad skips (indicating strong performance), set up the following settings:
- Set the Metric to the Skip;
- Choose Condition as <Less Than ;
- Input the 10 value to the Value field;
- Set the Select Type to Not to exclude this condition from the report;
- Click the OK button to apply the filter.

The report with such a filter will exclude any campaigns where less than 10 ads were skipped
Once you choose all the needed groupings and filters, press the Get Report button to generate a report on the Analytics tab or the Export To CSV button to download the report in CSV format.
What if the Campaigns don't perform as expected?If you wonder why some of the Campaigns didn't get their wins & impressions, it's always a good idea to investigate with the Troubleshooting Tools.
