Black Iron Armor is a Chest Armor in Dark Souls. Part of the Black Iron Set. This armor belongs to Black Iron Tarkus, a knight renowned for his immense strength. Forged from a unique black iron, it offers exceptional defense, particularly against fire. However, its immense weight makes it difficult to wield for anyone other than Tarkus himself. Black Iron Armor is an armor piece worn over or around the player's torso to obtain an increase of defense and resistance. It also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped.
