The Speedy Lightfeet are Boots in Baldur's Gate 3. Boots can be equipped to a character's feet in their designated inventory slot and provide different effects ranging from increased Saving Throws, to gaining Advantage on certain attacks. Even a modest pair of Boots in BG3 can help a character tremendously, so be on the look out for them, and equip them when you can.
It is said the Speedy Lightfeet were the first of many lightning inventions made by Yrre the Sparkstruck. The boots' old, frayed edges zap and crackle with even the slighyest movement.

AnonymousWhat consequences do I have if I'm wearing these without the proficiency?

Anonymous"Dash or similar action" basically just means dashing, bonus dashes from stuff like expeditious retreat, cunning action: dash and the like. In my testing it basically needs to explicitly have the word "dash" in it. Someone else mentioned Eldritch Knight with expeditious retreat and this does neatly solve 2 problems you may encounter early on- poor mobility and poor to-hit on spell attack rolls. If you've got the Strange Conduit Ring they synergize well together without much thought or min-maxing. Just a neat little interaction that helps out EKs.

AnonymousNOTE: This currently DOES NOT work with Stom Sorc Fly ability from lvl 1. Hope they patch

AnonymousEldritch knight/war caster with expeditious retreat is pretty fun with these.

Has really no one tested what "Dashes or takes similar actions during combat" means to add it to this post?
I mean these seem to be pretty interesting and easy to obtain boots with a clear lightning synergy, how is it that no one took the few minutes to test some stuff?
AnonymousBe a level 4 thief rogue with the Moderately Armoured feat. With bonus action dashes your dps increases.

The Speedy Lightfeet. Are Not Useful on a Cleric as Dashing is a Primary Action +1 to Attack. But, On your Warrior, Via Leather Boots, When you Run ASAP, You get +1 to Attack, so That's a Bonus. Not Good for Monk.
