There are two iguana variants in Crimson Desert: The Giant Green Iguana and the Giant Red Iguana. Both of these iguanas are identical in terms of stats, but they have different visuals, which is why we've combed the Crimson Desert in search of them both. Below, you can find their locations and the food you need to tame iguanas!
Iguanas are huge mounts that will allow you to traverse the dry deserts with ease and style. Check out the guide below so you know exactly where to find iguanas, and how you can make sure these new mounts will add to your ever-growing collection.
You will need plenty of fruit/vegetables from the Grocers to feed and tame the Iguanas. We recommend Turnips, as they grant +40 Trust. You can harvest them from Glenbright Farm in Hernand, or buy them from the Grocer in Tomasso.
Giant Green Iguana Mount Location in Crimson Desert
You can find Giant Green Iguanas in the City of Tommaso, Tashkalp, in the Crimson Desert. There are plenty of Giant Green Iguanas resting in this area, but you're going to want to wear a mask, as these pre-tamed iguanas need to be stolen.
As soon as you mount the iguana, ride away from the area to avoid getting a wanted level, and once you go far enough, you can enter your inventory, hold X/A on the Turnip, and click "Feed" to give the Iguana food. Once it reaches +100 Trust, you can click "take in" with Triangle/Y on the iguana to make it your mount.
Giant Red Iguana Mount Location in Crimson Desert
You will find Giant Red Iguanas at the Iguana Hatchery, just under the "R" in "Crimson" on the map. These iguanas are hostile to their own riders, so you'll need to kill the riders and Iguanas, but leave one alive.
You can now subdue the Giant Red Iguana with Force Palm, and dealing enough stun/damage will allow you to mount it, but that doesn't mean it's tamed just yet!
To tame the Giant Red Iguana, you can feed it meat, fruit, or vegetables. We recommend Turnips, as this grants +40 Trust. Simply sit on the Iguana, enter your inventory, and hold X/A on the Turnip, then click "Feed" to give the Iguana food. After +100 Trust, click Y/Triangle to claim the Red Iguana!
