You can escape the main menu of Black Ops to find a computer terminal, which can be used to input unique codes and commands. While some codes can give you free unlocks (like Five, a Zombies map), others can be used for mere fun and games, and others have juicy lore related to the Campaign and Zombies mode! How to Input Computer Codes in Black Ops

When you're in the main menu screen, which is where Alex Mason sits restrained in a chair and has the option to select Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies, you can actually break out. All you need to do is repeatedly tap L2 and R2, and you will break free, and you can now roam the room.

Behind the chair where you were restrained is a computer terminal, and you can access it with Square. At the terminal, there's a list of commands and cheats you can input with the keyboard, which include the following:

All Computer Codes & Effects in Black Ops

Code	Effect
DOA	Starts a game of "Dead Ops Arcade".
3ARC UNLOCK	Permanently unlocks "FIVE", "Dead Ops Arcade", and all Campaign missions.
3ARC INTEL	Unlocks all Intel from the Campaign, which can now be viewed.
HELP	Displays a list of commands.
FOOBAR	Displays the text "Fi Fie Foe Foo!"
ALICIA	Provides you with a Virtual Therapist.
ZORK	Plays Zork 1: The Great Underground Adventure, a text-based adventure game.
WHO	Shows a list of active log-in usernames.
LOGIN	Allows you to enter a Username and Password
MAIL	Opens the mail of the current logged-in user.
HELLO	Displays the text "hello brother, hello nurse, and hello sailor".
LS	Shows all files that can be viewed when you enter the text after "TYPE".
CAT	Input "CAT" before a .txt file to read it.
TYPE [file.pic]	Displays the image of the selected file on the screen.
CLEAR	Clears the terminal screen.
ENCODE	Type a message after "encode," and your message will be encoded.
DECODE	Type the encoded message, and it will be decrypted.
RLOGIN DREAMLAND	Allows you to enter a Dreamland Server Username and Password.

If you type "LOGIN" as your code and press Enter, you will be asked to sign in as a "USER" and then a "PASSWORD". There are quite a few usernames and passwords, and each of them has its own unique list of emails that you can read, which even includes some deeper UFO-related secrets:

All Dreamland Users and Passwords in Black Ops

Three users can access the Dreamland server after the "RLOGIN DREAMLAND" command. These three users are the following:

Inside the Dreamland server, you can enter "DIR" or "LS" to see unique files, which can be images and text files. You can then read said file with "CAT" (for example: CAT giant1.txt).

The Dreamland server allows you to read emails, view texts, and images, which are all related to Zombies!
