One of the biggest additions in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is the new Naval Officer questlines, each introducing a unique character that Edward can recruit to the Jackdaw. While only a few quests are needed to add these officers to your crew, completing their entire storylines gives you a deeper look.
During the final mission in Padre's questline, The Other Cheek, you'll be asked to search for clues about the Bishop's whereabouts. The search area is much bigger than it needs to be, but here's a little hint before we begin: you're going to spend most of your time near the shore.
Where to Find the Bishop's Location Clues in AC Black Flag Resynced
After travelling to Kingston, head to the objective marker and wait until nightfall for Padre to arrive. Once the cutscene begins, Abel explains that the Bishop only travels around at night, meaning you'll have to gather clues before you can track him down.
As soon as the cutscene ends, head north into the marketplace. You'll notice a group of people gathered around a notice board. Interact with the Warning Note pinned to the board to collect the first clue.
For the second clue, don't waste time searching the entire investigation area. Instead, head towards the large barn, but don't go inside. Look towards the shoreline beside the barn, and you'll spot two civilians having a conversation. One of them mentions carrying an invitation, and that's exactly what you're after.
Sneak up behind the civilian and pickpocket the letter without being seen. Be careful here, as there's currently a bug where getting spotted can interrupt the pickpocket, preventing you from trying again. If that happens, you have two options:
- Reload your previous save.
- Eliminate the civilian and loot the invitation from the body instead.
For the final clue, continue south towards the docks. You'll find another pair of civilians talking about the Bishop secretly holding prayers in the forest at night. Simply listen to their conversation to obtain the last clue. With all three clues collected, return to Padre and follow him to the marked location.

After another cutscene, clear out the enemies throughout the forest before pushing deeper inside. At the end of the path, you'll find the Bishop surrounded by several guards. Defeat every enemy, then speak with the Bishop to trigger the final cutscene and complete The Other Cheek.
