The Gold Locket quest in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is a local event that happens once players revisit the city of Havana after a couple of missions. Edward comes across a grieving woman near the docks, who asks him to gather any news he can about her husband, who went out with the Spanish treasure fleet. The husband wears a gold locket around his neck, which is exactly what you'll need to bring back to the woman to complete the quest and claim your reward.
How to Start 'The Gold Locket' Quest in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced
To start the Gold Locket local event (quest) in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you'll need to first complete Sequence 2 and unlock the Jackdaw (ship). Once you enter Sequence 3 and complete the "Prize and Plunder" quest, the quest will become available. However, you'll need to head to the eastern docks of the city, at the location I've marked above (223,583).
You won't see the Local Event (quest) unless you're near the docks. As you get closer, you'll spot a woman wallowing in grief that you can talk to, and start the Gold Locket quest in AC4 Black Flag Resynced.
Where to Find the Gold Locket in AC Black Flag Resynced
Once you've accepted The Gold Locket quest, you'll need to head in the northeastern direction of Havana to an unmarked island in the Dry Tortuga called Florida (381,797). While you won't be able to see its name, its icon (palm tree) will be available even if you haven't visited the area before.
Make sure to synchronize at the Viewpoint on the Florida island to uncover the location of all activities and secrets there.
There's an underwater chest in the northwestern part of Florida that you'll see once you've synchronized at the Viewpoint. All you need to do here is simply dive underwater and open up the chest to find the Gold Locket item inside.
There's another underwater chest nearby that will fetch you a hefty sum of Reals (money).
Once you have the Gold Locket, fast travel back to Havana and talk to the lady. She'll be grateful that Edward has provided closure for her, and players will receive 200 Reals as a reward for completing the Gold Locket quest in AC Black Flag Resynced.
