Eiichiro Oda's One Piece officially skipped Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #40 due to a break. Now, with the release of this issue, we are excited to announce that the manga is officially set to return in the coming week. One Piece chapter 1192 will be released in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #41 on September 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. This chapter is going to be packed with action, as the quartet of Luffy, Loki, and Hajrudin, alongside Scopper Gaban, takes on Nerona Imu in a cataclysmic battle in Elbaf. This fight is going to decide the fate of the country, but also the fate of the entire world, and we are eager to see how the story continues from here on out.
One Piece Chapter 1192 Will Show The Aftermath Of Luffy, Loki, And Hajrudin's Attack on Imu
One Piece Chapter 1191 was officially released on August 23, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #39. This chapter showed Nerona Imu take on a completely new transformation and fight against the likes of Luffy, Gaban, and Hajrudin. Eventually, Loki joined the group, and together, the Three Generals, that is, Luffy, Loki, and Hajrudin, combined their strength to unleash a powerful attack called Gokoku Sovereignty on Imu. This attack hit the King of the World, but the aftermath was not shown to us.
Hajrudin: Remember, Mr. Ya! Elbaf will never give in. Our Warriors are always prepared to die in glorious battle! And even if I die, there's still Loki!
Loki: That's right, brother, square up!
Luffy: And look! I'm all better too! Gomu Gomu no….
Luffy, Loki, and Hajrudin Together: Triple General Gokoku Sovereignty!!
— Luffy, Loki, and Hajrudin launch their final attack on Imu, One Piece Chapter #1191
Now, on September 6, 2026, One Piece Chapter 1192 will show us the aftermath of the attack, and more likely than not, Nerona Imu will be unscathed. This attack would certainly not be strong enough to deal any kind of lasting damage to Imu, given the level that the King of the World has showcased to us already. As such, One Piece 1192 will likely go on to establish Imu's dominance in battle once again. This is especially the case because the King of the World recently undertook a new Akuma no Mi transformation, making him bigger, stronger, and possibly even faster. With Honebami Toshiro at his disposal, Nerona Imu only needs to land one blow on any of these characters to completely sever their limbs, just as he did with Gaban previously.
Why Imu Is Set To Dominate The Trio in One Piece Chapter 1192
The creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, has made it incredibly clear that Imu far surpasses any of the fighters that are currently in Elbaf. Be it Loki with his Nidhoggr powers, Luffy with his Nika form, or the legendary Left Arm of the Pirate King, Scopper Gaban; none of them compare to Imu in terms of overall power, which is precisely why the King of the World will continue to dominate in the battle that is currently unfolding in the underworld.
An impressive feat! To escape Honebami's wrath with losing only one arm. There will be nothing left of thee after the next one! — Nerona Imu prepares to finish off all enemies, One Piece Chapter #1191
One Piece Chapter 1192 will likely go on to further solidify the authority of the King of the World and possibly even see the fall of characters like Loki and Hajrudin permanently as they try to take a stand to defend the country their father entrusted to them long ago. With Hajrudin already having received his moment of shine in the previous chapter, it is likely that Oda will now see to his defeat. Meanwhile, Loki is already carrying severe injuries, so it wouldn't be too hard for Imu to deal with him in combat. Luffy is also on his last legs, and unless he pulls out a new transformation in Chapter 1192, which is not impossible, he is not going to last long in combat either.
The best way for the quartet currently teaming up against Imu in the Underworld is to stick together and combine as many attacks as they possibly can. By doing so, they could potentially prolong this battle long enough for Zoro and Sanji to do their parts against the Holy Knights and weaken Imu further.
Luffy's Wings Will Have To Step Up in One Piece 1192
One of the most important parts of One Piece chapter 1192 could be pertaining to the Wings of the Pirate King, Zoro and Sanji. Right now, all the focus is on the Underworld, where the quartet of Luffy, Gaban, Loki, and Hajrudin are fighting. But one absolutely cannot forget about Zoro and Sanji because they are key to the victory over the World Government fighters in Elbaf. Currently, Zoro and Sanji are up against Sommers and Killingham, and they are both powered up by Nerona Imu with an Omen. With the power of this Omen, their strength has been taken to a completely new level, and both Zoro and Sanji will need to put out high-level Supreme King Haki to take them down. If they do manage to take down Sommers and Killingham, then Imu will be nerfed tremendously.
Imu: Those traits made Harald a true monster? Yet he was taken down? What exactly is lurking in Elbaf?
Five Elders: We shall have the Abyss Pentagram carved by Harald in Elbaf inspected.
Imu: That shall not be necessary. It'll result in the death of another Knight. Every Covenant comes at a high price to pay for Mu.
— Imu confirms Holy Knight deaths weaken him, One Piece Chapter #1171
One Piece chapter 1170 confirmed to us long ago that losing a Knight with a Covenant weakens Imu tremendously. In other words, as Sommers and Killingham fall, it will be possible for Luffy and the others to defeat Imu, or at the very least, send him back to the Holy Land, saving the country in the process.
One Piece chapter 1192 might build towards that by showcasing the battles unfolding between the Wings and the duo of Sommers and Killingham. These battles might not be as important as Luffy vs. Imu, but in the grand scheme of things, they hold tremendous value. We absolutely cannot wait to see what Eiichiro Oda delivers with the upcoming chapter on September 6, 2026, but even more than that, we hope that Oda goes on a run of chapters from here onwards. One Piece has endured quite an arduous release schedule over the course of the last few months. Now is the time for Oda to show some consistency and drop chapters one week after another. We hope that One Piece goes on a three-week run and that there's only one more break in the month of September, but a confirmation remains pending.
In either case, One Piece chapter 1192 is going to be incredibly exciting, and fans all over the world can read it simultaneously with the Japanese release at 11 AM EST on Manga Plus.
