The Circade is a Boss in Soulframe. The Circade is a formidable boss you will encounter during your quest for "Festival of the Circade", who is found lying within the Crypt of the Circade. The Circade is also known to be a malicious spectre who dwells within the walls of the Crypt. Completing the puzzle inside the Crypt of the Circade will grant you the Circade's Armour Set.

The Circade Fight Strategy

The Circade is another formidable opponent you will have to fight during your quest for "Festival of the Circade", which is found within the Crypt of The Circade. The fight with The Circade will not be an easy one, as this boss uses different sets of attacks and has the ability to heal himself. One of his abilities is cloning himself into four individuals. When you hit the wrong version of the boss, it will regenerate some of his health, but when you actually hit the real version of the boss, the fight with him will continue. The boss can also perform a Multiple Sword Slash Attack, wherein he will come rushing towards your position as he tries to swing his sword at you. When this attack lands, you will take a significant amount of damage, and you will also be knocked down on the ground. If you master the art of parrying, you can parry this attack to avoid taking damage, and you will also have the boss staggered, leaving him vulnerable to your other incoming attacks. The Circade can perform a Charging Attack as well, in which he will instantly lunge at your position, passing through your body and causing a very minimal amount of damage; however, this attack is not something to be complacent about, and it is highly recommended that you maximize your dodging ability to avoid this attack. Another deadly ability that this boss has is the Exploding Ground (Dodging Ability). This is when the boss tries to avoid your attack. He will quickly transfer from one place to another, and his last known location will cause the ground to explode, and if you are within the perimeter of the explosion, you will take serious damage. For you to avoid getting caught during the explosion, once you see the boss move from another location, get away as quickly as you can from his original position.
The key to defeating The Circade is to know when to parry and dodge his attacks. If you already master the art of parrying, you can always parry his Multiple Slash Attacks, as successfully parrying this attack will leave the boss staggered for some time, leaving you enough room to use your powerful attacks and inflict as much damage to his health. Or you can just roll away from the direction of his attacks to avoid getting hit.
The Circade Attacks & Counters
Cloning Ability
The Cloning Ability is when The Circade transforms himself into four individuals. When you hit the wrong version of the boss, it will restore some of his health; however, upon hitting the correct version of him, the fight will resume, and he will pause for a very short period of time, which you can take advantage of and hit him several times to at least inflict some damage to his health.
Multiple Sword Slash Attack
The Multiple Sword Slash Attack is when the boss rushes to your position, swinging his sword, trying to inflict as much damage as he can. If this attack catches you, you will take serious damage to your health, and you will also be knocked down on the ground. One of the efficient ways of avoiding this attack is to go in the opposite direction of the attack, or if you are confident with parrying, you can always parry this attack and have the boss staggered for a short period of time, which you can also use to your advantage and perform your powerful attacks.
Charge Attack
The Charge Attack is when the boss quickly rushes to your position, passing through your body and inflicting a small amount of damage to your health. Even though this attack is not deadly, it is something not to be ignored, as it can still kill you in most unexpected ways. To avoid this attack, quickly move sideways or in the opposite direction of the charge.
Exploding Ground (Dodge Ability)
The Exploding Ground (Dodge Ability) is when this boss tries to evade your attacks. He will instantly move from one place to another, and his last known position will cause the ground to explode. If you are within the area of the explosion, you will take serious damage to your health, so make sure to move away from his last known position to avoid getting caught during the explosion.
