Heist Prep: Access Code

“Okay, we know the Kortz Center uses access codes to lock their vault. We just need to know which code. Now, the security company the museum uses to generate the numbers is, unsurprisingly, extremely fuckin' secure. That's why we're keeping you at a distance and sending a drone to download their latest codes. Does it involve a tussle with Eberhard first? Potentially, but hey, what kind of PA would I be if I didn't give you a little fun, huh?”

Heist Prep: Access Code is a preparation mission for The Kortz Center Heist in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced in The Kortz Center Heist update.

Description

The objective is to acquire the access code for the Kortz Center vault lock, which is regularly updated by the museum security. In order to obtain these randomly generated codes, Raf suggests the player to use a Nano Drone to infiltrate a security firm associated with the Kortz Center and hack into their systems.

Raf sends the player the location of some Eberhard Security guards protecting a shipping container with Nano Drones inside.

Shoot the lock on the container

to steal a drone inside.

After shooting the container doors open and collecting the Nano Drone inside it, the player must head to a vantage point, which is an accessible rooftop of a random building located next to the security firm headquarters. Once there, the player must deploy the Nano Drone and fly it into the security firm's air units, which leads to the building's interior.

Infiltrate the security firm

by flying the drone through the broken air con vent on the roof.

Security will become alerted if the drone is spotted in the field of vision of a guard, worker, or security camera.

Inside the security firm, the player locate the computer terminal generating the access code, stay within range of the computer until Raf finishes downloading the latest generated access code.

Press (action) to scan a terminal when in focus.

Stay within range of the terminal

so Raf can download the access code.

From this point onwards, the player must head to the backup server and make the Nano Drone self-destruct in front of it, causing the servers to be damaged and stop generating new access codes until after the robbery.

Destroy the backup server

by detonating the drone to stop the security firm from generating a new access code.

The codes will gain you access to the hallway leading to the vault inside the Kortz Center.

Memorizing the access code is not necessary, as Raf will send the combination to the player's phone during the heist finale.
