The Sparkle Hands are Gloves in Baldur's Gate 3. Gloves can be equipped to a character's hands in their designated inventory slot and provide different effects ranging from increased Saving Throws, to gaining Advantage on certain attacks. Even a modest pair of Gloves in BG3 can help a character tremendously, so be on the lookout for them, and equip them when you can.
'Sometimes I just want to feel that spark,' Yrre the Sparkstruck said. 'Feel the lightning course through me.'

- The effect only mentions unarmed attacks, but it applies to thrown weapon attacks as well.

AnonymousThe wording of the note is confusing. Does this mean if I throw an equipped weapon such as a spear, it will give me the lightning charges?

AnonymousSucks that these have a metal gauntlet model. It ruins the whole aesthetic for my early Monk :(

AnonymousI can confirm these gloves work with ranged spells to provide advantage on metal constructs and enemies wearing metal armor while having armor charges.

AnonymousBarbarian's Elk Rage Heart "Primal Stampede" skill (basically a knock stuff prone shield charge w/ no opp attacks) does actually trigger these gloves. But no matter how many targets you hit it's only 2 charges gained.

AnonymousStupid question, but does the Advantage part work with ranged spells?

Anonymous
AnonymousThese actually work with throw attacks and Tavern Brawler, despite the "unarmed attack" phrasing. Weird, since Sould Catching gloves don't.

Anonymous
AnonymousDoes the Effectie Transmitter part work with cantrips and spells?

AnonymousUpdated on 1.0 release.
Now are Rare, no longer require Medium Armor Proficiency, and has different effects:
Conductive Strikes: On a hit with an unarmed attack, the wearer gains 2 Lightning Charges.
Effective Transmitter: While imbued with Lightning Charges, attacks against metal constructs and foes wearing metal armour gain Advantage.
Very nice for Monks.
are they better throwing gloves than kushigo gloves?
