BOOOAL's Benediction Tips & Notes

AnonymousSomeone had to pickpocket the sickle from the priest, then Boooal's avatar gavethe benediction instead of the sickle. But pickpocketing on the Kuo-toas has been deativated. therefore it seems impossible to get the benediction.

AnonymousAs of July 2024, the buff does NOT go away upon dying. It is now truly permanent.

AnonymousYou can get this buff without sacrifice anyone, just search "BOOOAL's Benediction: Without sacrificing companion" in Youtube

AnonymousIf you are playing 4 player co-op can you still sacrifice someone? How will that work with the player you decide to kill?

AnonymousI sacrificed Wyll on my evil durge run.
I did it before I took the Tieflings out. I figured Wyll would leave me for doing that anyway so I might as well get something out of him.

AnonymousI sacrificed a companion then tried killing Boooal and fishies for xp. The buff dropped off after the last enemy went down. This is probably intentional given the fishies are the ones powering you up. Just a heads up to others! (Encountered playing Patch 5 Hotfix 12, 10DEC2023)

AnonymousYou can't sacrifice your companion in the last slot of your party

AnonymousI completed the act 1 and 2 upgrades for karlach and im going to sacrifice her to boal for the permanent buff, I hope i'm not missing out on anything in act 3 with karlach but she seemed like the logical choice

Anonymousyou can get the buff on 3 companions by fleeing after you choose to sacrifice someone and then returning with another party member

AnonymousAs a Dark Urge, you can be giventhe item with the right dialog options.

Anonymousdoes anyone know when/if this becomes unavailable? I want to get the buff on minthara but im not sure if its possible

AnonymousDisappeared in act 3 in my dark urge run after progressing the quest. Don't know if related to it and its story or bug, either way not really a permanent buff.

AnonymousIf you're going to side with the Goblins in the Druid grove conflict, may as well sacrifice Wyll or Karlach

AnonymousYou can actually get this item by killing one of his minions. The caster.

Have one follower with good sleight of hand and invisibility (through spell, scroll, potion, etc.) ungroup from the party and sit back at the entrance, with another character start the dialogue, now the detached party member casts invis and pickpockets the sickle from Pooldripp and walks away.
Now the character in the dialogue should succeed the arcana check dialogue, then say you have another offer, now succeed the DC20 persuasion check (I have one life... ) and your whole party will gain the buff.
