Exceptional Great Sword is a Great Sword Weapon in Avowed. Great Swords deal very high damage and Stun. They also have high Block Efficiency, allowing them to Block with low Stamina cost. However, they swing slowly with a high Stamina cost.

A slight curve to the blade increases the chance of landing a devastating slash. Weapons like these are useful against large groups attacking at once. The design is inspired by the swordfighters of the Ixamitl Plains, though scaled up for use by knights on foot rather than warriors on horseback.
