Common Brigandine Armor is a Body Armor Piece in Avowed. All pieces of armor offer protection and damage reduction from incoming attacks, passively increasing or decreasing stats. Armor equipment can be upgraded.

A hybrid of studded cloth and metal plates, brigandine armor protects the wearer from most blows while sacrificing little in comfort of mobility. Brigandines are considered standard protection for undistinguished mercenaries.
