After being teased, after being name-dropped in the series in Chapter 287 around 23 years ago, this God has now officially made its debut through the ability of none other than Saint Rimoshifu Killingham of the Holy Knights.
One Piece Chapter 1182 Officially Reveals Rain God Zaza Through Killingham's Dream Manifestation
One Piece Chapter 1182 gave its fair share of attention to the Holy Knights, specifically Saint Killinham. After being powered up by an Omen from Nerona Imu. Killingham stated that his body was overflowing with energy. This power from Imu's Omen directly boosts Killingham's physical attributes but also his Devil Fruit ability. As officially confirmed in One Piece Chapter 1143, Saint Killingham possesses the power of the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin. This is a very unique Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that has the power of dream manifestation. Killingham can produce anything that he or anyone around him dreams of and make it real. He can also turn nightmares of other people into reality, and a fraction of that power was officially shown in Chapter 1182.
Usually, Saint Killingham manifests the dreams and nightmares of other people. In the latest chapter of One Piece, however, Saint Killingham manifested his own biggest fear, and this fear is none other than the Rain God Zaza. At the moment, Eiichiro Oda has not revealed the full capabilities of the Rain God Zaza. This is specifically because Zaza was only revealed as an MMA manifestation in Chapter 1182 of the series. This God is most certainly mythical in nature and exists in the form of a Devil Fruit, just like Sun God Nika. Luffy has the power of Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and similarly, there exists a Devil Fruit called Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Zaza. This Devil Fruit and its owner have yet to be directly confirmed by Eiichiro Oda, which means that the vast majority of the powers that it holds remain unknown at this point in time. In One Piece Chapter 1182, Zaza could also be seen gigantifying itself tremendously and producing up to four arms. As confirmed in the chapter, it also has a giant water ring behind its back, similar to Imu's Ring of Black Flames, through Omen. Through it, Zaza can utilize many water-based abilities, which makes this Devil Fruit a massive weakness for all other Devil Fruit users in the world of One Piece. By sinking the other Devil Fruit users that exist in the world, Zaza can essentially defeat the vast majority of the individuals who go up against it. This further explains why the Celestial Dragons fear it so much.
In Chapter 1182, the Rain God Zaza specifically took orders from Killingham and kidnapped the children of Elbaph.
