Mortal Shell 2: How to Complete Executioner's Pulpit

Dungeons are scattered throughout Mortal Shell 2, but the ones marked on the map are not the only places worth exploring. Beacons, normally used for leveling up and fast travel, can also contain mini dungeons with an Ova waiting at the end.

The Executioner's Pulpit Beacon inside the Prisoner's Domain Corrupt Gate is one such location, although its layout can make it tricky to navigate. Here's a complete walkthrough to help you reach the end and collect its Ova.

As soon as you enter the beacon, and the Central Sewers appear on screen, you will notice two pathways blocked off on either side. Ignore these for now and continue straight ahead. Most of the cells along this path are empty, so you can ignore them as well. The first cell on your left is the exception.

The gate to this cell is locked, but you can break the chains securing it by attacking them with your weapon. Head inside, deal with the enemy, and interact with the block to open a path into a larger room. There are several enemies with crossbows here alongside a larger enemy that can roll around the area, so take them out before continuing.

Once the room is clear, interact with the lever on the other side to raise the gate ahead. Rather than going through immediately, return to the previous room and drop down the hole in the middle. This takes you underneath the dungeon, where you can follow the straightforward path until you reach a jump pad.

Use the jump pad to reach a room on the opposite side of the dungeon. Go up and deal with the enemies here before looking through one of the doorways for a chest. Open it to obtain the Squal Stone, a Tarstone that you can equip to your weapons or sidearms.

From the chest, head to the opposite side of the small room to find a button. Interact with it to raise the gate and open the way forward. Continue through the middle and make your way down toward the Ova.

At the end, you can cleanse the corruption and collect the Ova. You can now leave the dungeon, get the Glimpse reward, and continue through the Corrupt Gate. The path ahead eventually leads to another boss before you reach the final boss of this Corrupt Gate, Nameless Captive, who also has a unique trophy/achievement associated with him.
