Searchbug users now have another option when working with our APIs. A new Annual API Plan is available for any existing or new customers that want contract rates and more predictable costs for their data workflows.
This update applies to most Searchbug APIs and gives businesses a simple way to lock in lower rates through a one-year agreement.
What the New Annual API Plan Means
Searchbug has always offered flexible pricing with no contracts through our monthly usage model. That option stays.
The Annual API Plan adds another choice for any API client that wants to lock in lower annual rates.

- Available for all popular APIs except Bulk
- Provides lower contract pricing compared to standard monthly rates
- Requires a 1-year commitment
- Uses a self-service application form
Monthly Plan vs Annual Plan
Here's the difference between having monthly plan vs annual plan.
Monthly Plan
- No contract required
- Pay-as-you-go pricing
- Volume discounts apply automatically
- Pricing resets monthly
Annual Plan
To get the lower Annual Plan rate, the customer commits for 1 year.
- Contract pricing for 12 months
- Lower rate than standard monthly pricing
- Annual usage estimate becomes part of the contract
- Apply through the self-service form

The Annual API Plan page lets customers:
- Use the Estimator
- Switch between API types
- Adjust annual volume
- See an estimated price that becomes part of the new contract
Both existing and new customers can apply.
How Existing Customers Can Apply
Existing customers will:
- Log in
- Provide company name and industry if missing
- Agree to the Annual Plan terms
- Submit the application
Our customer support will review and update your account status.
How New Customers Can Apply
New customers can register for a Test API Account and the Annual Plan at the same time.
After that, our team will receive these:
- Test API Account Application (new customers only)
- Annual Plan Application
Our customer support team will review your application shortly.
