Omid Izadjou posted thisOver the past few months, we’ve been looking for ways to expand the types of short-duration options available in Arc Treasury so companies have more flexibility in how they manage idle cash. Today we’re excited to introduce a new option designed for teams looking for higher yield potential while staying in short-term, investment-grade fixed income. Vanguard’s Short-Term Investment-Grade Fund (VFSTX) with a net yield of 3.91% as of 3/9/2026*. Because it blends short-term investment-grade corporate bonds with Treasuries, it can offer higher yield than many government money market funds or T-Bills in the current environment (with corresponding differences in risk). Why we added it to Arc Treasury: • Higher yield potential compared to other products on the Arc platform* • Daily liquidity with next-business-day settlement • Managed by Vanguard, one of the largest asset managers globally For companies managing cash, this adds another alternative to traditional cash products and longer-duration fixed income. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to me directly. See comments for disclosures.

Omid Izadjou shared thisExcited to share what we’ve been building at Arc: Archie, our CFO agent for technology companies, is now live. Archie brings AI and cash management together so founders and finance teams get instant analysis, proactive alerts, and investor-ready reports — all inside the platform where they already manage their cash. We’re excited to see how Archie helps companies make smarter, faster financial decisions.

Omid Izadjou shared thisPrivate credit is rapidly evolving. Axios recently detailed the opaque nature of legacy private credit — riddled with sparse & unstructured company data. This is creating a generational market opportunity for transparency, efficiency, and greater accountability. Today we launched Arc Intelligence, the first AI platform for private credit. Deal teams can now: - Automate complex financial analysis - Synthesize entire data rooms in seconds - Automatically map opportunities against their credit box - Generate detailed credit memos tailored to their diligence process Bringing speed and precision to deal making, Arc Intelligence will meet the broader market opportunity that is growing at a blistering pace past $1.7T. Omid Izadjou liked thisOmid Izadjou liked thisWe’re currently hiring for engineering and just wrapped up a sales search. One thing that has shocked me: the sheer number of junior candidates who are strictly "remote only." I get the appeal of the 30-second commute. But if you’re early in your career, I genuinely think opting for 100% remote is a massive mistake. Especially in Sales. Sales thrives on energy, overhearing how a veteran handles a tough objection, and the "war room" vibe of a big push. You can’t replicate that on a Zoom link. For engineers, it’s the spontaneous whiteboard sessions and the 2-minute "over the shoulder" fixes that build your skills 2x faster than a Jira ticket ever will. Remote is great for execution. It’s terrible for mentorship and rapid skill growth. If you're 22 and never in the room, you aren't just missing the "vibes." #hiring #startups #saas #founders #sales

Omid Izadjou liked thisOmid Izadjou liked thisWhen I was 10, I wrote my parents a handwritten letter convincing them to leave Korea and move to the US. They did. Years later, I told that story in a Barclays interview. The Managing Director stopped me: "They moved their entire lives because of a letter? That's crazy." Then he gave me a job. Fast forward, my blog caught the attention of my hiring manager at Carta. "I've never seen someone send in a blog as part of a finance job application," he said. As an immigrant, written words always came easier to me than spoken ones. Putting thoughts on paper felt more controlled, more precise. Like I could finally say exactly what I meant. So I kept writing. Took writing classes not because it seemed strategic, but just because I liked it. Years ago, everyone said: "Liberal arts is dying. Get technical skills or bust." The irony? The ability to think clearly and express it in writing might be the exact skill that lasts. Keep doing the thing you love. The world will catch up. — I'm Erin Kim, co-founder of Mesh (YC W25). I spent 5+ years optimizing close operations for 300+ accountants. Now, I help accounting teams scale by turning month-end spreadsheet logic into structured, auditable systems - starting with accruals.

Omid Izadjou liked thisOmid Izadjou liked thisW26 just broke every Y Combinator record on the books (freakishly strong). 14 companies at $1M+ ARR before raising. One at $27M. Average weekly growth of 14% across nearly 200 startups... the fastest in YC history! We have 100+ YC teams working out of our crashpad office in SF while they look for space of their own. So I notice when something's off, or when something's actually working. Here are the ones that stood out to me: → Pocket (YC W26): AI Personal Assistant (Gabriel, Akshay) → Zatanna: APIs for AI agents (Tarun, Rithvik, and Alex) → OpenSpec (YC W26): 27k+ stars, spec framework for coding agents (Tabish) → Patientdesk.ai (YC W26): AI OS for dental clinics (Oncel, Emre, Fikri) → Alt-X: AI agents for real estate underwriting (Ryan, Michael) → Remix: Auto-generate social content (Sam) → Haladir (YC W26): Building Operational Superintelligence (Jibran, Quan, Preston, Joseph) → Human Archive (YC W26): World's largest multimodal robotics dataset (Raj, Rushil, Samay, Shloke) → HLabs: US-made robot actuators (Paul Hetherington) → ZeroSettle (YC W26): Skip App Store fees, direct billing (Gabe, Ryan) → Avoice (YC W26): Harvey for Architecture (Chawin, Chawit) → Asimov (YC W26): On-demand human intelligence for robots (Anshul, Lyem) The whole distribution shifted, not just the top few. That's the part that's hard to explain and easy to feel if you're in it.

Omid Izadjou liked thisOmid Izadjou liked thisIt was a very busy Q1 2026 for many companies in the NFX portfolio 🚀 Across AI infrastructure, space, security, tech bio, fintech, and consumer — we’ve seen a wave of financings and M&A from companies where NFX led the seed, often as the first institutional investor. In total, over $1.25B in announced follow-on capital so far in 2026 for NFX cos. This is core to how we operate at NFX: We lead seed rounds — often before there’s consensus. We back founders at day zero. We help shape deep defensibility from the very beginning. And we support companies through breakout scale. Different sectors — same pattern: • Exceptional founders • Massive markets • Network-driven advantage A few highlights from the quarter: 🚀 Stoke Space — Extended its Series D to $860M We led the seed in 2020, backing a bold vision for fully reusable rockets and a team executing at an exceptional pace. https://lnkd.in/gigRNJs9 🌌 Starcloud — $170M Series A at a $1.1B valuation (plus extension), led by Benchmark and EQT Ventures & Growth We led the seed in 2024 — before hyperscale AI infrastructure became obvious. https://lnkd.in/gUZjm8p5 ⚙️ ScaleOps — $130M Series C at an $800M valuation We led the seed in 2022, with early conviction in AI-driven infrastructure efficiency as compute demand explodes. https://lnkd.in/gvjyGmNq 📊 Novig — $75M Series B Building a trader-first prediction market — a fresh take at the intersection of consumer behavior and sports. https://lnkd.in/gFwah964 🧬 Centivax — $37M financing Advancing next-generation immunology and building toward a remarkable universal vaccine. https://lnkd.in/gSW43M23 🔐 Koi Security — Acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $400M We led the seed ~18 months ago — a standout example of speed, focus, and execution. https://lnkd.in/gc39F349 And this is just a slice. Many more companies in the portfolio are quietly building toward their own breakout moments. Grateful to my exceptional partners Gigi Levy-Weiss, Morgan Beller, Omri Amirav-Drory, James Currier and the rest of the NFX team — and especially to the founders who let us be their first believers. The best is still ahead.

Three years ago, as I was ending my terminal time with the USSF, I walked into an abandoned warehouse in Culver City that would become the proving ground for I2A and The BR-DGE. From whiteboards to execution, we supported 64 I2A companies that have since scaled from R&D efforts to $1.7B in follow-on government contracts and $2.25B in private investment. What started as an empty space is now 21,000 sq ft of collaboration space that has hosted 149 events and over 6,000 annual visitors. Along the way, we welcomed international delegations, senior Department of Defense leaders, and a few unexpected guests. To the team, thank you for trusting me to lead. I’m taking a few weeks to reset. Wedding planning, more rugby, and some time at home. Then it’s back to building in the defense and space ecosystem for the long haul. Plaid's CEO just said the next five years will look completely different than the last five, but somehow that's not even this week's biggest plot twist. This week, we're breaking down the moves that matter: 💡 Plaid CEO Zach Perret tells Karen Webster the company is evolving from data connectivity to becoming "the analytics platform for financial services" while betting big on agentic AI. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4JdD0 📉 Main Street businesses are struggling hard, growing at just two-thirds the rate of larger companies as restaurants and retail get hammered by cautious consumer spending. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4H_C0 🛡️ Block's Brian Boates reveals how Cash App prevented $2 billion in P2P fraud since 2020 using machine learning models that warn users about only 1.5% of payments. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4GPm0 ⚖️ A federal judge rules Anthropic can train AI with books without permission under fair use, dealing a major blow to authors seeking copyright protections. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4G-d0 🏦 Mastercard opens its account-to-account instant payments sandbox to UK banks, letting them test new services without breaking critical infrastructure. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4H1Q0 💰 Fiserv launches its own stablecoin FIUSD on Solana, joining the rush of traditional finance companies entering the digital asset space. https://hubs.ly/Q03v4G-f0 Big question of the week: If AI companies can legally train on copyrighted content, what does that mean for every creative industry's future? Your SDRs move slow. Your market doesn’t. In 2025, sales teams win with agility. Markets shift. GTM strategies evolve. New products launch overnight. And if your SDR team can’t keep up, your pipeline’s at risk. Bad news: Most internal teams aren’t built to move that fast. Good news: Outsourced SDRs are. Here’s why they’re built for the modern sales org: 🔄 Pivot to new ICPs without missing a beat 🚀 Launch-ready teams, no hand-holding required 📊 Real-time reporting to optimize on the fly 🎯 Performance-based models (not just warm bodies in seats) The future of SDRs isn’t in-house—it’s on-demand. Want to pick the right agency to keep your pipeline fast, flexible, and future-proof? We’ve got the guide for you 👇

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗥 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹. In most B2B orgs today, the real challenge isn’t effort or headcount, it's focus. • SDRs spend hours chasing leads that aren't in-market • Personalization often defaults to "Hi {First Name}" • Sales cycles are longer than ever, while buyer engagement is happening behind closed tabs 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁? Wasted touches, burned budget, and pipelines that look full… until the quarter closes. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗥 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁? This is where intent data becomes a revenue lever, not just another tool. According to Demand Gen Report: • Companies using intent data see 2.5x conversion rates • Sales cycles shrink by 28% • 68% of marketers say it’s critical for ABM performance At S2W Media, we help marketing leaders solve this with a full-funnel, intent-driven strategy: • 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 + 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, pinpoint buyers already researching your solution or evaluating your competitors • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, SDRs focus on verified, high-intent accounts • 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, informed by real behavioral signals, not assumptions The outcome? Predictable pipeline. Faster velocity. Higher ROI. No more guessing games. No more wasted touches. As marketers, we don’t need "more leads."We need better intelligence to drive a meaningful pipeline. Are you empowering your SDRs effectively? Most managers think more oversight means better results. But micromanaging actually stifles SDR growth and confidence. Here's what we've seen: SDRs who get clear priorities and trust ramp faster and perform more consistently. One manager cut corrective coaching by 40% by shifting from constant check-ins to focused 1:1 coaching that builds judgment. The key is teaching SDRs how to decide what matters daily, so they stop guessing and second-guessing. This reduces noise and builds execution fundamentals that last. Managers: stop managing every move. Instead, create clarity, set expectations, and empower reps to own their day. Your team will thank you—and your results will show it. How do you balance guidance without micromanaging your SDRs?

Scaling to 40 AEs and still feeling invisible. That’s the founder paradox nobody talks about. ✅ You hire. ✅ You train. ✅ You scale. 40 AEs on the floor. Pipeline reviews. Outbound pushes. Standups. And yet, 🔻the market doesn’t know your name. 🔻Your brand is muted. 🔻Your pipeline feels like it’s running on borrowed energy. Here’s the part nobody says out loud: 👉 Scaling headcount ≠ scaling voice. 🔹 If you don’t speak, your competitors will. 🔹 If you don’t set the narrative, the market will. 🔹 If you stay invisible, your team feels it too. Because buyers don’t just buy from AEs. ⚡ They buy into the founder’s conviction. So if you’re scaling but not storytelling, ask yourself: ⚡ What do I want my market to remember me for, beyond the product demo? Your story doesn’t scale automatically. But when it does, everything else compounds faster. 💬 Founders: what was the moment you realized your story mattered as much as your product?

Sergio Valdes breaks down a simple yet powerful 3-step approach grounded in understanding people and process. 1. Know which companies can afford your product — understand pricing and client financials. 2. Map out who’s who: champions, decision-makers, and gatekeepers. 3. Use the champion to get to the decision-maker and tailor your approach to each stakeholder. Sales is about relationships and strategy, not just presentations. How does your team approach these steps? Your data is either fueling growth… or funding failure. Sales leaders love to talk about closing rates, reply rates, and sequences. But here’s the truth: none of it matters if the foundation (your data) is cracked. SDR hours wasted chasing ghosts Domains burned on bounces Morale crushed after dead campaigns 💡 Growth doesn’t start with closing. It starts with clean data. That’s why Status Check exists. Your SDR team can't scale outbound because personalization breaks at volume. Writing custom emails for 200 prospects weekly is humanly impossible. So reps make a choice: send generic blasts that get 2% response rates, or cherry-pick 30 high-value accounts and leave pipeline on the table. Both options lose. The first trains prospects to ignore you. The second caps your growth at however many personalized touches one human can produce daily. The constraint isn't effort. It's that real personalization requires research, context synthesis, and message adaptation for every single prospect. Most teams can't operationalize that at scale, so they default to templates with merge tags and call it "personalized." Prospects see through it immediately. Enter This Week's Featured Agent: AiSDR AiSDR removes the personalization constraint entirely. It handles prospect research, contextual message writing, response management, and meeting coordination as a complete workflow. The agent researches each prospect across 323+ data sources, including recent LinkedIn activity, company news, job postings, tech stack changes, and funding rounds. It then writes messages that reference specific business context rather than generic pain points. When prospects reply, AiSDR responds within 10 minutes. If someone says "we're focused on other priorities right now," it doesn't mark them closed-lost. It schedules a follow-up for when their roadmap likely shifts. When they ask technical questions, it provides specific answers and moves the conversation toward a demo. When they raise objections, it handles them using your company's playbooks. The agent operates from your actual inbox through Gmail or Outlook integration, learns your messaging patterns through its persona builder, and maintains consistent positioning across every interaction. Your reps stop spending hours on email composition and sequence management. They focus on the conversations AiSDR has already warmed up. This fundamentally changes your outbound economics. The bottleneck shifts from "how many personalized emails can we write" to "how many qualified conversations can we handle." Your pipeline becomes a function of market size and offer strength, not human capacity to research and write. That's the unlock. Most SDR teams are productivity-constrained when they should be market-constrained.

You don’t have a pipeline problem. You have signal-to-noise distortion. Outbound volume is rising. Sequences are firing. Ads are running. SDR dashboards look active. But reply to quality declines and sales cycles stretch. The root cause is noise saturation. When outreach targets broad persona assumptions instead of verified intent clusters, engagement metrics inflate while buyer seriousness declines. More conversations begin. Fewer deals mature. Activity without signal filtering creates pipeline pollution — opportunities that consume bandwidth but lack progression probability. The strategic correction is signal-first orchestration: intent data, behavioral triggers, and strict entry thresholds before human engagement. When noise is filtered before outreach begins, reply rates stabilize and velocity normalizes. Precision doesn’t increase volume. It increases signal density inside every conversation. #B2BSaaS #SalesStrategy #RevOps #PipelineOptimization #DemandGeneration #RevenueLeadership #OutboundStrategy #SaaSGrowth

Why Great Tech AEs Don’t Last 2 Years In 2025, the average tech AE tenure remains stubbornly under two years. The Bridge Group’s latest insights confirm ramp time for SaaS AEs averages around 5.7 months, leaving just under 18 months of peak productivity before many move on. https://lnkd.in/eZAwbpBP Meanwhile, Xactly reports that 87% of sales teams still struggle to hit quota, underscoring that systemic issues—like quotas misaligned with support or unrealistic comp—aren’t disappearing anytime soon. https://lnkd.in/eucfV7Pk That short productivity window brings real consequences: elevated CAC, gaps in pipeline, and constant team turnover that stress buying cycles and cultural momentum. What to Do About It High-growth firms are responding by: • Compressing ramp time: leveraging structured 30/60/90-day onboarding, peer coaching, and shadowing to hit productivity milestones faster https://lnkd.in/eZAwbpBP • Linking comp to retention: using tenure-based accelerators or milestone bonuses to incentivize multi-year contributions • Reviewing quotas quarterly: ensuring targets reflect real territory conditions and macro shifts • Investing in development: offering clear career pathways, role transitions, and sales-marketing alignment for long-term engagement • Streamlining sales operations: pruning CRM and admin overhead to let AEs sell, not do paperwork

Sales teams are drowning in tactical busy work. The answer isn't working harder—it's building smarter frameworks that put AI to work on what machines do best. The data is already in. AI handles up to 80% of SDR tasks now, from prospecting to meeting prep, freeing reps to focus on relationship building. Teams using AI-enhanced playbooks see 20-30% better forecast accuracy and 40% higher engagement across channels. But here's what caught my attention: the tools are converging around three core capabilities. First, intelligent lead scoring. Instead of manual qualification, AI processes thousands of signals—technographics, buying intent, even social engagement patterns—to surface the prospects worth your time. Second, adaptive messaging. Platforms like Apollo and ActiveCampaign now tailor outreach based on firmographics and behavior in real-time. No more one-size-fits-all templates. Third, unified workflows. The best teams aren't adding AI features to broken processes. They're rebuilding their entire go-to-market motion around what AI can automate versus where humans add unique value. What changes when you think systematically? One agency just booked 250+ meetings in a month using a 7-step framework that tiers accounts by research depth. Tier 1 gets manual attention, Tier 3 runs on pure automation. I've seen this pattern before. The companies that win aren't the ones with the fanciest tools. They're the ones who redesign their entire sales operation around what technology makes possible. So here's the question: are you adding AI features to yesterday's playbook, or building tomorrow's sales engine from scratch? #AISales #SalesAutomation #OutboundStrategy #B2BSales #SalesPlaybooks
