Who saw the fastest salary growth in the U.S. this year? Leadership roles topped the list. Project managers led with 24.5% salary growth, followed by Chief Operating Officers at 21.6% and Chief Executive Officers at 20%. Yet wage growth is not limited to executives. Support roles like ICT help desk agents also saw meaningful increases. The signal is clear. Demand for strategic and specialized expertise continues to push wages upward across the market. Where in the world are salaries growing fastest for the same role? The answer varies widely. Chief Operating Officers in Latin America saw salary growth of 99.8%, compared with 21.6% in the U.S. Project managers in Australia and New Zealand saw 39.6% growth, while the same role in the UK grew by 18.2%. The takeaway is clear. Market maturity shapes compensation as much as job title. Emerging markets reward operational scaling, while mature markets tend to see more incremental leadership gains. Many successful startups didn't start in Silicon Valley. Great founders are everywhere but access to capital, networks, and visibility is still very uneven. Competitions like The Pitch by Deel are interesting because they surface founders we might never meet otherwise, from regions and ecosystems that are often overlooked. This year, The Pitch offers a $15M+ investment pool, plus an exclusive suite of perks from partners. From our side, Pitch participants will get access to the exclusive AltaLab cohort, where we work with founders on focus, product strategy, and fundraising readiness. I'm also glad to join the jury and look forward to meeting great founders at the regional events and the grand finale. The competition is backed by partners including: AltaIR Capital, J.P. Morgan, Andreessen Horowitz, Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Airwallex, CrowdStrike, JumpCloud, General Catalyst and more. If you're a founder, this is a global stage designed to give you the capital and visibility you need to break through. Apply now: https://lnkd.in/dxtYe5wR

We analyzed 1M+ worker contracts spanning 37,000+ companies in 150+ countries for our 2025 Global Hiring Report. The fastest-growing job? It didn't exist 3 years ago. Today, it’s growing at 283% and employs over 70,000 people. AI trainers. People love talking about AI replacing jobs. Meanwhile, AI is creating an entirely new profession, and it's growing faster than almost anything else in the global labor market. These aren't just "data labelers." AI trainers are the hidden layer between raw model capability and real-world usefulness. They're the ones telling a model: this answer is wrong, here's why, here's what right looks like. The role spans basic annotators all the way to subject matter experts - doctors reviewing medical reasoning, lawyers catching flawed legal logic, economists stress-testing financial analysis, translators preserving meaning across cultures. These are people teaching AI systems how to think about specialized domains Language and culture aren't afterthoughts anymore As AI gets deployed globally, the weakest link is localization. A model trained on Western medical data doesn't understand how a rural Kenyan clinic operates. A legal AI built on US case law can't reason about civil law jurisdictions. Local expertise is what turns a generic model into one that actually understands your context. That's why the geography of this work is also shifting fast: 🇺🇸 US: 60% 🇮🇳 India: 7.4% 🇵🇭 Philippines: 4.7% 🇨🇦 Canada: 2.2% 🇰🇪 Kenya: 1.8%
