Just 21 first team players now, some already injured. Still no number10, striker, or cover at left back. Promises made by the board to support Farke not kept again. We are a couple of injuries away from a crisis. This was supposed to be the season we would consolidate our position in the Premier League. Looks a bit of a hill to climb now and we could be going the other way very quickly. There is something not right at Leeds and it’s not with the manager or the players. Questions need to be asked.
This is madness. Despite the recent additions the Leeds squad is weaker than it was at the same time last year and, once again, we have not brought in a No 10, or a new striker, and there is very little chance of getting them in before the window slams shut, given the dilatory progress being made by our recruitment team since Trafford was signed. The supposed “ ambition” of Marathe and Co is looking questionable and the board, not Farke, must carry the can if we find ourselves struggling to compete against 19 other teams that have recruited widely.
