About Daniel Hepburn

Dan is a Football Writer for GIVEMESPORT, particularly focusing on Premier League football content, having started his career with the GIVEMESPORT academy in late 2020 during his University studies and has now worked his way up to a freelance role in April 2023.

Having previously worked and produced a variety of written content for Eurosport, 90min and UtdDistrict, Dan now works across the GMS site producing News and Feature content. He has also worked with the Exclusives team.

Dan graduated from the University of Winchester in 2020 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and stayed on to complete his MRes in Sport and Exercise, which finished in 2021.

Favorite Player

As an avid Manchester United fan, Dan holds the likes of Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes, Park Ji-sung and Dimitar Berbatov in very high regard. Wayne Rooney, too. In terms of other players, Kaka and Moussa Dembele are a duo of players whom he enjoyed watching in their pomp.

Favorite Sports Team

Dan, at club level, has been a Manchester United fan since birth and his passion stems from the days when Wayne Rooney and the like were plying their trade. He also supports England, having attended many games at Wembley over the years.

Favorite Sports Moment

Dan's favourite sporting moments include Manchester United's win over Chelsea in the 2008 Champions League final. Post-Sir Alex Ferguson, Marcus Rashford's converted penalty against Paris Saint-Germain is a fond memory of Dan's.
