New horizons is really slow on switch 1 after the new update 3.0.4, while on switch 2 it blasts through, it was supposed to bring just one anniversary item but they did something that makes a new island crash on my switch oled.

now that I tried pokopia I am both disappointed and happy about the state of new horizons on switch 2. On the one hand IQ is better because at least it has some basic AA compared to its switch 1 counterpart... but pokopia is so much smoother at 60 fps... I think the game logic might be tied on new horizons to 30 fps, but it is a bit sad... Also people bloat islands, so I can see them locking at 30 to avoid the lurches that they had on some islands on switch 1
