What are Consumables (Elixirs) in Soulframe?
Consumables are what the players can use to gain different effects. The Life Elixir, for example, can be used by the player to regain health, and only 5 can be carried at a time. It is speculated that Elixirs can be crafted by the Ancestor Verminia, and crafting will cost Crafting Materials. Earlier, there were only 2 Elixirs available in the game. The first is the Life Elixir, which, as mentioned, restores health when the player is critically injured. It’s one of the key things you need in battle, providing a chance to recover and turn the tide of a fight. The second Elixir is the Cloudquell, which serves a different purpose. Unlike the Life Elixir, Cloudquell is more of a quest item and is linked to specific in-game events. You can obtain it from Nightfold at the Vermina Rats Table. After meeting certain conditions, Verminia the Witch will hand it over to you, likely as part of a larger storyline or questline. These Elixirs, while limited in number, will be of great benefit to players, making them important items to keep in your inventory. Consumables in early versions of the game were initially called Elixirs, but due to recent updates, they are now called Consumables as an item type. Consumables can be crafted by interacting with Verminia once she passes to Nightfold, which can be done by defeating Nimrod and exploring the nearby area to reveal Verminia. For now, it can be speculated that Verminia can give access to Elixir crafting, which requires Crafting Materials that can be obtained through various ways, mostly as loot from unopened chests.
What Does the Cloudquell Elixir Do?
The Cloudquell Elixir, on the other hand, serves a very different purpose. Unlike the Life Elixir, which is focused on healing, Cloudquell is more of a quest-related item. You can obtain Cloudquell by meeting specific conditions at the Vermina Rats Table in Nightfold. After fulfilling the requirements, Verminia the Witch will hand over this Elixir.
