I liked the film as a long-time Queen fan. The soundtrack and performances is what stood out for me. Real-life stories brought to the screen always show less-than happy elements, often key to the story which certainly the case for the biopic. There may be flaws in the film, but for the songs of the legendary band the film is worth watching. (And since then I understood the inspiration for the song Love of my Life) Freddie Mercury, I'm sure would be delighted with Rami Malek's performance, if not happy about the film.

Back to the Future has become such a beloved film to me ever since I watched it and the ending only made look forward to the sequel more. The future aspects of the imagined-then 2015 were amazing (with some being accurate). Watching more of Marty and Doc was great. Even callbacks and 'recreated' iconic scenes from the original film made the film funnier. When it comes to fun moments it was cool watching: Frodo Baggins (little Elijah Wood in his film debut) meeting Marty McFly & Lorraine as a Grandma after Lea Thompson became a Grandmother IRL. The sequel does justice to the the 1985 masterpiece and it does shy from depicting some darker aspects, while retaining its status of a family film.

First of all I'm not a horror and thriller fan. But this film proves that horrors don't need CGI to successfully send shivers down the spine. Just the presence or either Hannibal or Buffalo Bill was enough to do so in my case. Also Jodi Foster is the only Clarice Starling - she was superb. Seeing one the greatest and most successful films at Academy Awards was a great experience.

As a long-time fan of HTTYD I was excited to watch this one. Like the animated trilogy I enjoyed this one incredibly. Because of the epic score and amazing characters I never get bored or tired of it. Now in place of animation, it's now the cinematography to admire. I found the changes pretty cool as well. Well done to the creators and the cast (& crew). If the sequel lives up to this, I'll be even more pleased.

In spite of the film being said to age poorly, I still deem the film good and had pleasure watching it.

Definitely one of the best Alfred Hitchcock films which keeps you on the edge of your seat without scaring the viewers much. The cast is excellent and limited setting makes the story more gripping. Because of the setting I wished to seeing a stage version of The Rear Window.

Underrated yet wonderful Disney Gem definitely worth watching. Including some dark tone it has all which you can ask from an adventure & detective story. With close attention you may find multiple nods to Sherlock Holmes.

I always wanted to watch the film ever since hearing on multiple occasions the beautiful song that is Kiss From the Rose by Seal (when I found out too that the song is part of the film's soundtrack). I was surprised to find out in the aftermath of watching the film that it, especially Joel Schumacher contributed to the song's rise to popularity after its rough start. Speaking of the film - Val Kilmer's portrayal of the iconic character brought justice to Batman AKA Bruce Wayne. I found it gripping to see another side of the Caped Crusader which was his inner turmoil and personal struggles connected with the loss of his parents. This sets as a good example that we all go through hard times once in a while. Still there are people who will be there - for you for Bruce Wayne and whose presence I enjoyed were Alfred Pennyworth, Chase Meridian and Dick Grayson who becomes Robin. Although labelled as 'damsel in distress' often Nicole Kidman's Chase doesn't always act like one - she does her best to help Bruce Wayne and becomes his company. Additionally Dick Grayson gives Bruce a lot - the tragedy he endures in the film inevitably brings him close to the Batman and is a perfect match for him because of the major similarities. Jim Carey and Tommy Lee Jones made a perfect job playing the villainous duo of the Riddler and Two-Face who were both comical as lethal. (The latter's backstory even shows how pain can harden into ideology and grudge). I enjoyed very much the film's story and the riddles as one of the themes.
