Synopsis

ThoseAbout to Die is an interesting and entertaining look at a part of Roman culture we hear little about. Before the Colloseum was built, it wasn't gladiators who were the "sports" heroes of the day. The major league events were at the Circus Maximus, and it was chariot drivers who the mob cheered on. Those About to Die gives viewers a dramatic, but not far off, depection of Roman life. So, if you like period dramas packed full of action, intrigue, romance, and tragedy... this is the show for you. The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking, and the story keeps you guessing about who can, and who can't be trusted.
