Rockstar Games has given fans their biggest look at GTA 6 yet, and as good as that news was, there is still one massive question fans are asking. PC players are still waiting for confirmation that the game is coming to their platform at all.

Rockstar released the GTA 6 Extended Look on August 27, showcasing brand-new footage from GTA 6 running on the PS5. The presentation highlighted Vice City, the game's two protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, classic GTA shootouts, and police chases, among other things.

Despite this extremely extensive reveal, Rockstar didn't announce a single thing regarding a PC version of GTA 6.

GTA 6 is currently scheduled for a November 19 release, which is fast approaching. At this stage, GTA 6 will release on the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, but PC is nowhere to be found among the listed launch platforms. This is obviously concerning for PC gamers who don't have a console and don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars to get one just to play GTA 6.

The lack of a PC announcement gets more significant by the day as the console launch rapidly approaches. Rockstar has historically released major games on PC after their initial console launches, and the wait can vary. GTA 5 released on PC a whopping 19 months after consoles; Red Dead Redemption 2 hit PC 12 months later, but Max Payne managed to receive a PC version a mere 14 days after the initial console release.

We can only hope for a Max Payne-style release window here, as waiting 19 months for GTA 6 to hit PC would be a massive blow for PC gamers. For now, crickets are all we're hearing from Rockstar about a GTA 6 PC release. At least PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players can rest easy, as GTA 6 still appears to be on track for its November 19 release.
