Roulette is a Pictos in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Pictos are equipped by Characters to acquire passive bonuses and learn a Lumina, Pictos with a Grey icon represent Pictos for which a Lumina can be learned, while a Blue icon and Golden border represents Pictos for which the Lumina has already been learned. Each character can have 3 Pictos equipped at a time, and there are no other requirements for equipping Pictos. However, characters cannot equip the same Pictos at the same time.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Roulette Pictos Information
- Passive Bonuses: Defense, Critical Rate
- Luminas Effect: Every hit has a 50% chance to deal either 50% or 200% of its damage.
- Clarification: Each attack has an equal (50%) chance of dealing either 50% or 200% damage. No attacks will deal normal damage.
- Lumina Points Cost: 5
Roulette Pictos Notes & Tips for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- By equipping a Pictos and winning 4 battles, a Lumina can be learned, and the party can equip it to activate the effect of the Lumina, minus the passive bonuses from the related Pictos. Each Lumina has a respective amount of required Lumina Points for it to be equipped by a character.
- Because the Roulette grants an equal chance of dealing half or double normal damage, the average damage is raised by 25% by equipping this Pictos/Lumina. Compare:
- Two hits, each of which deal 100 damage, for 200 damage total.
- One hit that deals 200 damage and one hit that deals 50 damage, for 250 damage total, and an average per hit of 125 damage.
