Details

Alastor, the avenger of evil deeds! This is a very versatile build wich grants you an amazing defense and poise, and easy melee combat with fire damage, also ranged lighting + magical damage. Very good for begginers in my oppinion.

Weapons:
(1) Black Bow of Pharis [Lighting +5]: drop from Pharis, the female archer in the forest.
(2) Quelaag's Furysword: ascend any +10 Curved Sword or Curved Greatsword with Quelaag's Soul at the Giant Blacksmith.
(3) Greatshield of Artorias [keep it at +0]: ascend a +10 shield with the Soul of Sif.
(4) Grass Crest Shield [Regular +10]: at the bottom of Darkroot Garden guarded by a Black Knight.
(5) Logan's Catalyst: after buying all Big Hat Logan's spells in the Archives, and defeating Seath the Scaleless, talk to him once more, then reload the area.
Armor:
(6) Giant Armor Set: buy from the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo (26000 souls).
Rings:
(7) Ring of Favor and Protection: drop from Lautrec, wait untill he kills Anastacia, then invade his world in Anor Londo.
(8) Havel's Ring: defeat Havel The Rock in the shortcut between Undead Burg and Darkroot Basin.
Spells:
(9) Remedy: cross the branch at the top of the waterwheel in Blighttown.
(10) Cast Light: buy from Dusk of Oolacile (1000 souls), in the lake, after you kill the hydra and the golem.
(11) Soul Arrow: buy from Griggs or Logan (1000 souls).
(11) Great Soul Arrow: buy from Griggs or Logan (6000 souls).
(11) Heavy Soul Arrow: buy from Griggs or Logan (2000 souls).
(11) Great Heavy Soul Arrow: buy from Griggs or Logan (8000 souls).
(11) Soul Spear: buy from Griggs or Logan (40000 souls).
(11) Crystal Soul Spear: buy from Logan (50000 souls).
(12) Dark Orb: found in Oolacile Township.

(14) Forest Hunter, reach Alvina at the Darkroot Garden, who stands just before the bridge linking to the ruined structure.

Route

- The Wanderer class starts with a Scimitar, a shield and a descent armor, keep and upgrade your Scimitar to +10 eventually.
- Loot the Fire Link Shrine for some starting equipment and consumables.
- Grab the spell down some stairs in Blighttown (9), cross the Valley of Drakes, going up the elevator, don't activate the bonfire, grab the Grass Crest Shield (4) and kill the lizard just ahead, teleport back to Fire Link.
- Clear the Undead Burg and its boss (hit the dragon's tails with 10 arrows if you want the Drake Sword), then continue to Undead Parish (8) and its boss.
- A great spot to farm souls can be unlocked now, buy the Crest from Andre for 20000 souls and open the door in the garden, kill the invaders with the straits trick for 7000 souls each run (21000 on NG+), and grab a new bow (1) in this area.
- Buy some spells from Griggs in Fire Link (11) now or wait until you reach Duke's Archive later in game.
- Go to The Depths and farm some humanities from the rats (save them for late), then open the gate to Blight Town using the key received from the boss.
- Go down trough Blight Town and reach Quelaag's Domain, then proceed to the Demon Ruins and kill the boss there.
- Finish the Catacombs for the Rite of Kindling, then finish the Sen's Fortress to reach Arno Londo, stocking some consumables if you want now (13).
- At the castle (6), kill the bosses to reach Gwynevere and receive the Lordvessel. Ascend your weapon now if you can (2).
- Invade Lautrec world to receive his ring (7).
- Head back to the Undead Azylum, grabing the key at the roof on Fire Link on the way, and clear the area.
- Go back to the lake (10) and finish the Darkroot Basin and Darkroot Garden, killing the Moonlight Butterfly and Sif (3), also farming some herbs in the area and joining the Forest Hunter covenant (14).
- Go to New Londo Ruins, speak to (or kill) Ingward and enter the Abyss.
- Back to Arno Londo, it's time to finish Duke's Archive and Crystal Cave (5)(11).
- Enter the portal in the lake and finish the DLC (12).
- Now complete in any order Lost Izalith, Tomb of the Giants, The Great Hollow (optional), Painted World of Ariamis (optional), Ash Lake (optional) and Darkmoon Tomb (optional).
- Kill all the NPCs and Firekeepers for extra items and souls (optional).
- Enter the Kiln of the First Flame and finish the game (my recommended minimal level before a NG+ is 85). With 32 Endurance, you still have medium roll even wearing all the equipment of this build.

• There are many errors with the fextralife build calculator, the level 155 status grants a Med Roll for the character with 40 Endurance in this build. I recommend to use the mugenmonkey.com calculator instead, it's very accurate.
