The Spear is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Spear offer long, precise thrusts usable while shielding, effective against armored foes but limited by narrow hitbox and shield vulnerability. Spears are long-reaching thrusting weapons ideal for a defensive playstyle, allowing you to attack while keeping your guard up. Their relatively quick jabs are effective for interrupting enemy attacks. However, their predictable stabbing motion can be easy to block and is less effective against fast or small targets.
