Skull Lantern is a Tool in Dark Souls. Tools are unique, reusable equipment pieces designed to assist players in multiple gameplay situations, ranging simple interactions to helping during difficult boss fights.

This lantern alights the Tomb of the Giants, Nito's light-devouring domain of death.
Also serves as a fire damage strike weapon.
Skull Lantern Usage in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered
- A light that is carried in the dark, used like a shield.
- When used in the Tomb of Giants it will also reveal hidden path-markers in the walls.
- Also serves as a fire damage strike weapon.
- Can be traded to Snuggly for a Ring of Fog.
Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered Skull Lantern Location:
- Rare drop (2%) from necromancers killed in The Catacombs. (Chance increases per necromancer killed. Guaranteed drop from the last one you kill if none had dropped it before. Important note: some, like the third one who stands across from a bridge, are more likely than others to fall to their deaths spontaneously; if they dropped it and you failed to pick it up, your guarantee is gone.)
- Found as a treasure in the Tomb of Giants, in the pit close to the first bonfire.
- This is the same pit that holds Patches' 'treasure.'
