Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring is a Ring in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring, granted to members of the Darkmoon Blade covenant, this ring allows the wearer to answer Dark Sun Gwyndolin's summoning. It provides no bonuses and can be swapped for another ring after being summoned. Players can equip up to 2 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible.

Gwyndolin, all too aware of his repulsive, frail appearance, created the illusion of a sister Gwynevere, who
helps him guard over Anor Londo. An unmasking of these deities would be tantamount to blasphemy.

Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring Effect in Dark Souls

  • When wearing this ring you may be summoned into other players' dark Anor Londo as an invader, presumably as a result of the host killing Gwynevere.
  • If the invader successfully kills the host, they will be rewarded with a Souvenir of Reprisal.
  • If the Host manages to kill the invader, however, they will receive Souls as a reward.
  • You must be part of the Darkmoon Blade covenant for the Rings effect to occur, but you do not need to be human.

  • In the original JP text the word used for sister is 姉, which often means older sister.
  • This ring reappears in Dark Souls 3 as the Darkmoon Ring.
  • The Darkmoon Blades are the forerunners of the Blue Sentinels of DS2 and the Blue Sentinels of DS3.
