seems like its only good for wild shape. otherwise, i'd just use blade ward since this one is concentration
This is good spell, because it's work in druid shapeshifting. look even better with war caster.

Experience so far is that this spell is quite weak from Act 2 onwards since most damage coming in is magical and ignores the resistance.

Just on cosmetics, the spell is very ugly to have on your main character as it completely covers your character in light brown patches till long rest. I wish the effect would only last a few seconds from cast.
It's worth noting that blade ward is on your self only and this is can be cast on another
